- The campus is beautiful with all the greenery and an amphitheater and a fountain near the academic building.
- College life with all the curriculum. Although the exams are stressful as they occur frequently but overall it's a good experience.
Dislikes
- The food of the Mess. although average, it's not up to the mark.
- The underdevelopment of the entire campus. Although the campus is developed 20% of its original shape, the development is very slow.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My selected curriculum is CSE core which is the most demanded stream in today's competitive era. The curriculum in our college is well structured and I am content with the study procedures. Teaching methods are well and fulfills the need of the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
At the end of third year we have to submit a project regarding our stream. Many companies give internship opportunities to the students of our college. Majorly TCS , being 25% shareholder of our college, give the most opportunities to our college students.
Placement Experience :
Placement is offered by the collge. Although due to tough competition, less companies visit our colleg but our college is growing at a great pace. major compaies that visit our college is TCS and Cisco. Highest off campus package of our college was 86lpa while the average is 15lpa. In our college about 89% students got placed previous year and the placement season is going for this year. My current plans after getting a B.Tech degree from IIIT Nagpur is to persue higher studies in IIT not because of the placements but for my pasion for IITs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no such specific term as scholarship in our fee structure. The fees for the college is quite on a higher side but the college provide assisstance by making us aware of certain scholarship program held by the government of India for eligible students.
Campus Life :
There are two main festivals of our college namely "Abhivyakti" and "Tantrafiesta". Both are annual fest which takes place in the month of February and October respectively. The college celebrate the festivals with great enthusiasm and zeal. All the technological facilities are provided by the college itself wherever necessary. The sports festival is called "Kshitiz" and is celebrated on a huge ground. The sports festival is very enjoyable.
Hostel Facilities :
My place of residence is the college hostel. The hostel provide all the basic facilities like water supply, food , spacious rooms and most importantly a good wifi and LAN. The hostel has its own mess which provides edible food. The hostel also has a medical and a counciler room for the students. There is a GYM on the fifth floor and it also comprises of all the basic equipments. Overall hostel life is quite great with the food being average.
Admission :
I gave JEE Mains at the end of my 12th to become eligible for this college. After the exam I secured 42000 rank in mains and through my obc quota I got admission in IIIT Nagpur. The admission process was fluid and I didn't find much inconvenience.
