Best college after top IITs

Admission is completely based on JEE mains cutoff marks. This was done through josaa and csab counselling. Admission is completely merit based there was not any management quota. I applied for PICT college Pune but I didn't get desired branch so I choose IIIT Nagpur college as it is the best college after IIT and nit colleges.

Nowadays, there are many career options and great placements for software engineers, so I choose a computer science and engineering course. All teachers of IIIT Nagpur are PhD holders. their teaching method is easily understandable for students. There are 1:100 faculties for one subject. The course curriculum is well updated .there are two exams for each semester and projects, assignments, viva marks are also included in that.

TCS provide many internships as it was the partner of the college under the government PPP scheme. The college also provides on campus internships with a good stipend. Students from the computer science branch get many internships offers by top companies .many stu6 get selected in open source programs like GSOC with a stipend of around 100000.

The placements of IIIT Nagpur are great.Top companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Microsoft, etc visited here.TCS is the partner of college under the PPP scheme of government, so it offers internships to many students in the 2nd,3rd years. The highest package was 44LPA offered by NUTANIX and 34 LPA byAmazon and the average package was 7to8 LPA .80 to 90 % of students get placed every year

The fees amount is high, but scholarships are provided for different categories of students as this college is a public private partnership, so the government provides scholarships. Also, you can get stipend internships in the 2nd, 3rd years if you work hard.

Many techfest and cultural events are arranged here like the ABHIVYAKTI carnival of arts. sports clubs arrange many indoor and outdoor competitions. Our senior run "Skills night "club is very good to gain skills like AL, ML, competitive programming and many more.

Hostel infrastructure was good as it is recently constructed. In each room, there is a maximum of 4 students everyone has a separate study table and cupboard. Student's have to fill registration form given by the hostel management team for admission. mess food was average but totally healthy. Breakfast was good than lunch. Wifi facility is available at the hostel
