Course Curriculum Overview :
So my course name is Computer science and Engineering. As the name suggests, it is the future. In future software developers are at high side of getting jobs despite the A.I. but still it is better branch. Papers here are very hard. They make application based problems in all papers which is better than just learning same code and giving it in exam. Teaching methods are poor here(except Maths). Our math teacher is excellent. But for other subjects i think the way of teaching,their voice,more application based content must be discussed in class.And also subjects which are of no use in CSE should be removed.Exam pattern sucks.They take 2 Sessionals of 15 mark each and 1 end sem of 70 marks for 3 hrs. They should remove sessional and take one midsem.
Placement Experience :
Placement are also not well. They provide placements. But packages are low. 4th year student are eligible for placements.I can't jot down whole companies because there are many including NVidia, TCS and Wipro. Highest package offcampus was 86 LPA and AVG package is 15 LPA. More than 80% gets placed. I will rather be placed in good company or I will give Gate exam or do MBA
Fees and Financial Aid :
Course fees for 1st year is 247000.Its very big amount. Also there is no scholarship given by college, we have to fill form outside the college. There are internships from 3rd year.Since I'm in 1st I don't have that idea about this
Campus Life :
Campus Life is not well. It is developing 100 acre campus. More things are yet to made. Annual festival include Abhivyakti, TantraFiesta and Kshitij for Sports in Feb,Oct and Jan respectively.Library is best.You can every book related to courses of different publications and journals here. Hostel Facilities :
There is Wifi in our hostel. In rooms there is lan connection with fast speed.Meal quality is (7/10) which is pretty good. For hostel registration process is quite easy compared to admission. I've been in hostel.
Admission :
The admission process was a bit hectic. they ask you submit documents online and then offline they will tell you to submit this 2 times, submit that 3 times. The cutoff was from (my category). I guess up to 7000 and I've got 4529 rank. Application forms are available on the college site. I think they should cancel the online submission of documents. Offline would be better.
