Course Curriculum Overview :

I like to become an engineer since my childhood. So i choose engineering. I took electrical engineering because there is a numerous scope for electrical engineers in future technologies. Engineers are the creators of world. If you choose any field there will be a engineer behind its process. The timing between exams are very small. We don't get enough time to cover the portions. And the toughness of exam is also above average. I think course curriculum should change the way of teaching means need to include practical sessions more.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 240000 per year

Placement Experience :

Around 30% students gets placed from college. Many multinational companies provides opportunity through our college. Companies like infosys, vipro and many other companies provides placements. From seventh semester onwards students are eligible for placement process. Highest package provided is 300000 per year. I like start my own start up after completing degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The amount of fees depends on the Entrance exam(KEAM) and percentage occupied in higher secondary. If you qualified KEAM and obtained a good mark in higher secondary there will be a huge decrease in fees. Some of my colleagues are studying with zero fees because they scored high marks in entrance exam and higher secondary so college provides them special scholarship. Complete cost of course is around 240000 including all fees. College also provides different scholarship worth of 25000Rs. Government offers MCM scholarsships for those who have no backpapers,Which is worth of 25000Rs per year

Campus Life :

College not only promote curricular activities but also encourage extra curricular activities. There are lot of festivals and techincal events. The tech fest and arts day are celebrated two days. And all festivals are celebrated. Dance club called D Addiction also there. Various service clubs like NSS, IEDC, IEEE are also encouraged.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are worth of the fees. Provides standard room and materials for studying and other purposes. The food provided for the hostelers are also good one. Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner are provided which are tasty and quality ones

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

There is a lot of process during admission. We have to meet different departments of college. To qualify to Btech with a normal fees we have to qualify the entrance exam called KEAM. it consists of two paper, one include physics and chemistry, second one is maths paper. We have to score 10 marks in each paper. Exam was not too hard,i should tell its a moderate one. We have to register for this entrance exam through online and i think the registration fees is around 300 or 200 something.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
