My experience at Amrita.

Dislikes

  • There are no ac's in the classroom. Which may be difficult in summer.
  • There is no any large garden area in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Overall curriculum is different from other colleges but as per me this is an effective of teaching students other than only subject oriented there will projects assigned for each subject and this is good practice to get exposed.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee depends on the rank you got and according to the rank, you may get a particular slab. Overall there are five slabs according to the slab you be getting the scholarship and you have to maintain you cgpa to get the scholarship every year.

Campus Life :

My overall experience in Amrita school of engineering in Bengaluru has been nothing short of enriching with a vibrant campus life that seamlessly when blends academic pursuits with social engagement the social aspects of college life here are incredibly dynamic fostering a sense of community among participating in cultural events there's always an opportunity to force meaningful connections and expand ones horizon.

Admission :

The admission process was good and i have appired for the aeee entrance exam to get seat in this college and we need to a minimum of 1000 as the entrance exam fee. There will be two phases for the exam and if you get above 10000 rank in the test they you may get seat in the college.

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the computer science was booming and also beeing an aspiring student towards that field I had decided to do CSE. The curriculum is was less practical towards the real world applications. They should have include industry professionals to teach they would have better knowledge and experience. Every one we used to have exam like mid term , FA, and end terms. Difficulty depends upon prepration level done by student.

Placement Experience:

They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.

Placement Experience:

If talking about the placement placements are good companies like Wipro or Amazon and many other companies will visit the campus but the ratio of selection is less. So little bit hard work is required or else around 60 to 70%. Students are placed from my college in every year.
