Course Curriculum Overview :

The courses offered are highly relavent and is practically oriented. Small project or term paper are given to student to build more practical knowledge on the course. Also the professors are of top class and are an experts of there courses. They make things crystal clear and are ready to help the studenta in any manner possible. But overall curiculam is hectic, you should be hardworking from the start to learn each and everything.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are various companies offering internship like samsung, qualqom, tata power, pgcil and various others with a resonable stipend on satistfying the eligibilty criteria. Eligibilty inculded you CGPA also some companies may conduct interview for selection if applicants are high.

Placement Experience :

Studenta are eligible for placements in pre final year only. They are also trained for interviews. College had placement cell named OCS which is generally manged by student representatives selected by autorities. They bridge between studenta and companies. Job fair is held every year on the fixe dtime metiones in the academaic calender. There are alot of companies visited uptill now and almost every peraon i know in my circle are placed with average package of 20 lacks anually. I am planning to get a postdic after completion of my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Various scolarships are provided for full time PhD scholars, if you have taken admission through gate score than you will be provided with TA duty and a monthly 37 k per month is provided as stipend. Also meritorious student can apply for PMRF scolarship. Various other scholarships are provided based on the research you are doing, you can apply for them while pusuing your course. Fee structure is includes tution fee of 16000 per sem along with 60k hostel accomodation. Alsi hostel fees varies from hostel to hostel

Campus Life :

There are numerous societies inside college you can apply in. Workshops are organized almost every week with influential speakers. Every year on the month of March cultural and technical fest, Tryst is organized along with departmental fest can vary in any month. Libraries provides a wide range of books in every department. It also provides access of various software like IEEE explore, MATLAB, Quill bot and what not. Lecture halls are provided with projectors along with speakers. Campus is fully air condtioned and wifi connection is available everywhere.

Admission :

Admission process includes interview after selection is done with the number of other applicants. Shortlisting was done on the basis of grades and preference was given to the student who had greater GATE score. Application form is needed to be downloaded from the website only also for PhD addmissions, you need to stay updated as all the information is updated on the website. Exam pattern in iit delhi is different than any other nit or private colleges. It includes assignments, quizes and minor major exams also marking is relative. Life at IITD

Placement Experience:

Life In Delhi Technological University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to pursue Ph.D. and I am highly interested in ME so I chose. Faculty students ratio approx 40/60. Most of the faculties are having Doctorates degrees, Masters's and also have a concern with industries. In PhD there is 6 months of course work and remaining the year there is research work. The total duration of this degree is 4 years from the date of SRC.

Remarks:

Entrance Preview:

I took the GATE exam and secured 673 rank in Electrical engineering.I did Mtech in Industrial engineering in 2012,then after one year break continued for Phd.

Placement Experience:

Average package level for Btech students is 7-8 lacs,there are only few extraordinary students in some departments who get higher packages. Placements for Mtech students is not good.
