Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose information technology by considering the vast arising scope in the field of computer and programming.I opted government college because of better unlimited facilities provided by government to pursue btech degree under A P J Abdul kalam Technichal university.My college have good facultied and good facilities.This syllabus is more student friendly and it includes 2-3 academic projects and one seminar .These all will help you to mould your carrie with strong foundation.There will be semester wise exams .Thus students will not feel pressure as it is semester wise.Semester cgpa and sgpa will be calculated based on each course credits.This course syllabus and curriculum is more student friendly and carrier oriented .

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 7 th semester onwards placemets will be provided for students.TCS , COGNIZANT , TATA ELXSI, Q BURST are main companies visited during past years.Highest pacakge offered by companies range from 20 LPA to 25LPA. Lowest package range from3.5 lakh to 4 lakh.Nearly 30 percentage of students are getting placed from campus per year.I am actively looking for higher studies opportunities after getting the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure is according to semester.During each semester particular amount of fee to be paid to the university.There will be fee concession to SC/ST/OEC category students.First two semester fees may come between 8000-10000 per sem.Other semester have only an average of 8000 fees.Scholarships which are provided by university includes MCM,Egrants,prakathi etc.Scholarship amount can be benefited as concession in fees and also in money format which may credited to your account.Students will get plenty of volunteering opportunities from different communities which are cative in college campus.

Campus Life :

This college offers you a number of opportunities to boost your career and campus life experience.Invento is the main tech fest of college which will be conducted in every two years by students itself.Invento is an National level tech fest .There will be plenty of art fest also.I got so many opprtunities to became part of famous and active communities like IEEE,NSS,Robotics club etc.My active involvement in those helped me a lot to mould myself both personaly and academicly.All classrooms are well facilitated by projectors and modern teachinf and learning equpiments.Active sports club is also present in college

Hostel Facilities :

College hostel provides you with good modern facilities .One room will be shared by 4-5 students.24 hours computer lab and wifi facility is available in college hostel.full time library for students is also available in hostel.Rooms are clean and neat.Meals offered by hostel authorities is of high standards.Mess committee will be deciding food menu.Mess committe is maily included students itself so students have the opportunity to choose their menu every week.Rental rooms and PG facilities are available within 100 metres of college

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

Admission process was completely through keam entrance examination.I got admission in merit seat.It solely depends upon KEAM rank and other reservation categories if applicable according to your personal details.After keam exam which will be conducted during the month of may-april and results will be declared within 2 months and by the end of september u will get admission in colleges according to rank and reservation categories.SC/ST/OEC categories will get reservation in rank criteria as well as fees .Application details and further admission procedures will be executed via official site of kerala engineering entrance examinations site is cee.kerala.gov.in .During admission procedure it is better to opt for top colleges by considering placement opportunities and branch you are most interested to pursue your degree

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
