Course Curriculum Overview :

My old teacher who is professor in Nit Calicut said this college is one of best college in kerala and this college has one of the best electrical and electronics engineering course. They have good personality development classes. Exams in this college is quite intermediate not hard nor easy. Exam happen every 1 or 2 months gap. And a sem exam after two series Exam by the university.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 9500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Well as a first year I don't get any companies and roles offered under internships with stipend. Well I heard it is great from the seniors and aluminies. I hope it will continue great like other years.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement takes from semester 6. Well many companies come for like Wipro, tcs,goosch etc. Placement percentage increase by every year. My plans after getting degree is get good job through campus placement. If I don't get campus placement then i will go for mtech.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Cost of fees is very low as compared to college near me. Only 9500 per year. It is quite good and no fees for backward classes. When I joined I need to pay 18k as some insurance like that. Well this college as good campus placement as some of my family friends are alumini in this college.

Campus Life :

This college has good infrastructure. The experience is good. I quite enjoy my time in this college. At sports it's hard to get placed college team due to competition between students but have good infrastructure in sports.

Admission :

I completed 12 in science. Eligibility for this college is 12 only. I get admission through kerala engineering entrance examination keam. Well I got rank 10669 in keam. Because of this rank I get admission easily for this college. There are many reservation for backward classes for sc,st and oec categories.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
