Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was very effective since it included various ways of study and academic and non academic approaches. Practical sessions were very helpful since the give the chance to apply academics to work . There are still many things that need an improvement for a very useful change.

Class Size : 52Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There were many internship opportunities that came across to college. Many companies and academies came forward with several internship opportunities. The internships were very much worth and effective.

Placement Experience :

Placement cell was very effective in my college. Many companies came for campus placement. Many students were placed. The placement cell gavevery huge support to all the students. There are yet students who didn't get the offer letter from companies even now.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Talking about the fee structure, it seemed sometimes very high amount when it is said we study in a government college. Hostel fees took much amount. Apart from that everything needs to be paid in the college. There were scholarships, but it took much time .

Campus Life :

Campus Life was so beautiful considering its best aspects. But there were many things that couldn't be enjoyed to the full extend. Almost 1.5 years of my college life was shifted to online by the pandemic of corona. There were several clubs in the college , but my participation was limited.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility has great improvements from the starting to my final year. It was very clean and had many good facilities. But when it comes to the case of the things that need to be improved and need for anything in hostel, it took much time for the action .

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Admission :

The admission process to my college was based on the rank in keam. Various government colleges had certain cutoff ranks each for each category for admission to the defined colleges. For my college it was near to my rank . I got my first allotment in another collegeand had to wait till the fourth allotment to come this college.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
