Remarks :
This is the only gov engineering college which is near to my home town. And I don't want to be a hosteller. I love to be a day scholar. So that's the major reason to choose this college. The thing I like most about this college is they have very experienced teachers and most of the students of this college get a job after recruitment which is conducted by various companies which approach the college. The main reason I opted for this course is that, I likely to be an engg. That's it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Every 4th year the updation is happening. I have gone to peruvannamoozhi dam restoration project. Where the restoration of the dam is done by a group of engineers. That project helps the native people to get electricity at a low cost. And the process is going on. When I was there, almost work was completed. Faculties are very very helpful. If we had any issues with the topic they clear it out. They provide enough assignment to stimulate us. Manu p Raj is one of the faculties in our department. And I love to attend his class. Bcz he is soo good in his knowledge. So yeah.
Placement Experience :
Byjus the learning app. now shared memorandum with our college. ULCCS also shared a memorandum with our college. There is no famous startup by our batch mates. Maybe they are working on it. The famous alumni in our college were Mr. Byju who are now sponsoring the Indian cricket team.
College Events :
When I was in my first year the college conducted a tech event called Xplore. That was a huge event.it lasted for 4 days. It includes. (MAIN) exhibition of ISRO equipments. and various innovations of our students like robots and different kind of technical instruments which easiest our work. And other kinds of cultural events.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I really don't know about the scholarship which is provided by the college. But I have got obc scholarship by gov. Called Egrants. I get 8000 rupees each year and also u don't want to pay the initial amount for the admission.
Campus Life :
The best. We have free wifi facilities. And well sophisticated computer facilities. Amd cad lab. Everything this provided with air cooler. Every classroom have their own projector facilities. Our central library is so prosperous with books. Also, each department has its own department library. And the labs are very well. Labs are filled with equipments. If we have any kind od unavailability in case of the equipment. The very next day that will be corrected. And yeah, about sports. We have a volleyball court, tennis court, football ground, cricket ground, basketball court. Most of the students participate any one of these sports items. The college provides every equipments needed for sports like bat, ball.
