Course Curriculum Overview :
I am in the first year and everyone’s having the same curriculum and best part here is relative grading so it’s more helpful.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, they are many internships .it all depends on you. How you take on things here. You got to be in constant connect with teachers for internships and sites for updates and apply.
Placement Experience :
IT average is 11.2lacs and placement is 90% and above and there was a gradual increase in average salary every year and even college supports learning German(paid) for helping for study abroad options and IAS TRAINING institute nearby for students to try IAS. Overall placements are the scenario is good than other private colleges and around 350+ companies visited the campus last year.
College Events :
They are many events even semester full of events and odd sem we have an engineer and even sem INCI which is southed second largest fest overall it’s fun every second day we have some competition conducted by clubs and some dance shows etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is cheap compared to other private colleges and fee structure 65k per sem and 23k for food but if you have valid income certificate there’s still a reduction in fee by 66% and NITK is financially really helpful.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, college really financially helpful if your income is less than 5lacs then 66% fee refund and if less than 1lac 100% refund and we even have SBI bank here which provides loans at a cheaper rate for NITK students.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is the worst part but it’s better than most of the IITs and talking food it’s not hygiene and clean but manageable as they are paid mess where you can have food by paying and it’s really clean and hygiene like a mega mess. Your hostel rooms are okay not that bad even spacious first years got to share between 2.second years and further can get single rooms and rent is around 4K per sem pretty cheap.
Faculty :
The faculty almost have a doctorate here. They are really interactive as friends and really helpfully it’s fun the standard is pretty high and even the competition here though it’s fun. The faculty is always ready to help.
