  • Infra of the college is not so good because the college is very old

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am pursuing civil engineering.I was not really interested in it but I chose it because I was getting it for the rank i got in the qualifying exam. The curriculum is slightly on medium level. There are two exams in a semester with gap of 2 months

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are more for computer science and electronics branches. There are very less opportunities for other branches like civil mechanical chemical etc. Stipend off the internships offered is about 50k to 1lakh on average

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good in the college. Many companies visit the college for placement including core, non core and start ups. 80-90 percent of the students get placements. Average package is around 21 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee for a year i.e for two semesters is around 2.5 lakhs which consists of mess fee and tuition fee.Out of which tuition fee is around 2.05 lakh per year. There is waiver for sc/st category students and for other students based on their income ranges.it varies from full waiver of tuition fee to 66% waiver.

Campus Life :

There are many fests in campus.Major ones are Kashiyatra, technex, spardha etc.libraries are very good in the college. Facilities are good. Sports and gym facilities are also upto the mark. There are many clubs in the college for extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are very good and they are very well maintained. First and second year students get triple sharing room. Third and higher ones get double sharing rooms. Mess food is also decent. Non veg is provided 3 times a week. Hostel is within the college.

Admission :

I wrote Jee mains ,then I got eligible for jee advanced examination.I qualified in jee advanced and I got admission in Indian institute of technology BHU Varanasi in civil engineering department for the rank I got.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students can start getting placement if they had done an internship with any company. Otherwise, in the 7th and 8th semesters, most of the students get the placement. Many renowned companies come and offer jobs in college. About 70 percent of the students get the placement.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.
