Course Curriculum Overview :

About the Curriculum: I am opting the course of Microbiology Hons. in this college and this course has some real facilities of exposure to outside institutes like IIT's,IISER's etc. Microbiology department has some excellent faculty and our HOD is really very helpful, besides the lab facilities are very amazing Exam: Exams are really helpful and it has helped in reevaluating our mistakes and work in those particular areas

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 21000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

No such opportunities are given by the college itself but college pushes us to find internships at different institutions and provides us with all necessary documents and supports, but our college has students who have successfully found internships in institutions like IICB's,IISER's etc.with the support provided by college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Fee Structure: 17,000 for course fees and 4,000 per semester fees, this fee structure is really affordable and can be opted by students coming from very distressed backgrounds. Scholarships: SVMCM, Inspire, Jindal, etc. which have brought stability to the unstable financial backgrounds of students.

Campus Life :

Facilities: College has a large campus with two enormous buildings with labs that consist of well equipped instruments and components.Besides it has a e-library which has books in online format as well of shelves consisting of books from all courses which are very costly but the library has made it available for financially unstable students.It has a gym as well and it has equipments which can be used for regular exercise. Besides the college canteen provides healthy and safe foods. Classroom: classrooms have projectors, benches, and green boards alongside a healthy atmosphere

Admission :

Exam Frequency:Midsems around 2 and a half months and Endsems after 5-6 months Admission eligibility: based on a percentage 10+2 marks and the percentage of marks taken in the entrance test Exam Timings: 1 hour for Midsems and 3 hrs for Endsems Reservation benifits: 30% of the total class Application forms,fees: Found on the website of RKMVCC

Advantages of joining Adamas University

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by adamas university are really good, it basically depends on the student and his own knowledge and skills, but still the placements of adamas are really good. For biochemistry, placements are good only after masters. After Bsc there are jobs but they won't pay that much which you can get after completing Msc. And there are very few jobs of biochemistry in India. But you'll have a great scope in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
