  • The one thing I disliked was the huge amount of theory in the curriculum
  • Second thind is the lack of frequent extracurricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I have taken is computer science and specialization in artificial intelligence. What captured my eye was the inclusiveness of all spectrums of AI in the curriculum and the prestigious name of the institution. Although in my opinion, i think that following only the curriculum provided won't get you anywhere because the curriculum has the foundation that you need but not the vast knowledge. The curriculum should be more impressive if they were to decrease the amount of theory and increase the amount of practical knowledge and projects .this way we can be more prepared for the real world scenarios. The exams are medium to easy in the semester exams and medium to difficult in the internals so as to prepare students. Each semester will have two internals covering half the portions in each

Placement Experience :

As of now, there are plenty of placements with both big and small packages. The students become eligible for campus placement when they have reached semester 6 . They should have no backlogs and supplies to attend the placement. Some of the companies visiting are IBM, TCS, cognizant, Sutherland, Infosys, etc.. The average percentage of students getting placed ranges from 85 to 100. The highest package value was 6LPA After getting the degree of i get the placement I will work in that company or I'll choose to pursue higher education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is as follows a) Management - almost 150000 per year b) Allotment - 75000 per year The complete cost of my education is around 90000 including the bus fees and exam fee Currently they are providing placement trainings from S4 onwards so as to prepare the students for the real thing. There are no scholarships that I know of .

Campus Life :

The overall experience this far has been medium to fair . The campus life is not as exciting as you see in the movies but it's good if you find good friends. The college focuses on the aspect of learning and career more than extracurricular. The college has various club like arts , sports and media etc .. which conduct competitions once in a while. There will be an annual sports day and arts day. There will also be a tech fest - VIPANJIKA. The classrooms are comfortable. There are plenty of lab facilities and CS labs have air conditioning so it's comfortable. The classrooms have projectors .there is a huge basketball ball courts and an arena for indoor games. There is a huge library filled with knowledge and it's also air conditioned for a comfortable study experience.

Admission :

The admission process took half a day at the college offline. The eligibility of the course was to have 85% in the board exams of 12th and have a good team score. The college has a website that specifies all the relevant details for the admission process. The application form is provided by the front desk of the institution when you arrive for your admission procedures. Also, the fee and date details are provided on the website and also available when u contact the college. Reservation benefits are available SC and ST(fee reduction and other benefits). An academic year is divided into 2 semesters and each semester will have 2 internals and a sem exam. The internal exam will be set according to the previous year question papers which will make the sem comparatively easier. In my opinion, the admission process was too easy and there are no areas to improve

Students who have completed their sixth semester can start their placements. Infosys, Wipro,TCS, digitalcore, USTGlobal , Sutherland, Accenture etc had taken placements from last years. The average package starts from 120000 lpa and highest was 700000lpa. This year itself more than 800 students was placed in different companies. So I also tend to prepare for campus placements for my final year
