Course Curriculum Overview

I feel really blessed to treat patients and save someone's life. This made me take this field. College makes us be thorough in both theory and practical field. We have sessionals for evey 3 months and we have to take 50 percent in annual exam to clear every year. Community medicine posting helps us to interoggate with patients or any family.

Internships Opportunities

We have 1 year internship after four and half year of course. It makes us thorough in practical field and gives lot of experience. Stipend will be provided every month of internship. We have 3 months of internship in every department such as obg surgery etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Our admission fee is 141196 per year .The management also takes 77500 as donation fee evey year. We have to endure the cost of books, other educational expenses which will approximately be 15k. Most scholarship will be based on family income.

Campus Life

I have got really best people as my friends. College campus is good. We have lot of extracurricular activities such as dancing singing sports etc. We also have social groups for research quiz purposes. Library is also good .

Admission

Seat allotment is based on neet rankings for medical college admission. Application to fill for the exam is via online including the application fees. I didn't get any reservation as I come under obc category. Better the ranking, one will get better college.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

I recommend this course if they are really interested to do so.. we have internals once every three monthes and get a month for preparation holidays for the final exams.. That one month would be the most crucial period for proper preparation

Mbbs - more than just a degree

Mbbs is a really tough course we have to be mentally prepared for the course and it takes a lot of hardwork and consistency to complete this course and it's not about the money we get paid later medical is a noble proffesion I chose this course to become a really good doctor and serve the society. I choose these medical profession, because I have passion and to help the needy people to keep their health in good way. This college helped a lot to learn about ways to help the needy people by early clincal exposure and by teaching the technique of medical emergency things. Firstly, since manglore was closest to banglore I considered joining this college. Secondly, since I had a reservation ( under linguistic minority) the chances of me getting a seat in this college would've increased hence the choice.however, It would be unfair if I didn't talk about the very friendly staff and infrastructure of my college. Though medical colleges can be very stressful Srinivas medical college always finds way to implement fun along with learning. All the other activities conducted in our college ( sports day, foundation day etc) helps us take our mind off the stress we develop from studies and help us relax. The teachers also put in a lot of effort in helping us reduce the stress and cope up with the vast portions. The laboratory facilities are great too.
