My Review

Remarks :

College faculties are beautiful. Since our college is new, there are not much patients in some department but it is quite a good number to learn in MBBS.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since mine is medical college. course is very interesting every year. medicine is a never ending subject and it never fails to make it interest for you. it is all about passion for the profession. now I m a doctor and I m proud of myself and thank my parents for supporting me till the end.

Placement Experience :

There is no placements in our college since ours is medical college. After mbbs u can apply in the same college for junior resident post in any department.

College Events :

Chiasma (cultural events), Sports day, Holi, CME, Quiz competitions, Ganesha festival. All the events which takes place are big and different colleges in the same district and also different district participate and prizes are given for the same. Chiasma is the biggest event in our college and it includes lots of sports and cultural events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible for middle class people. Fee is accepted through cash/card/DD/Cheque There is no additional fee as such Yes it does provide fee reciept with fee breakdown like Tution fee Library fee Sports fee Hostel fee Mess fee Etc All the fee are to be paid at once during the beginning of each year.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Yes I had scholarship from DME since I have reservation category. Eligibility criteria was based on annual income. To be applied through online. I got refund of tution fee every year (approximately 40-45k).

Campus Life :

Campus was good, it had lot of greeneries and big campus. Gender ratio : male: female = 1:1. There was room for extra curricular activities. We had seperate ground for volley ball and cricket. Labs were clean and had efficient technical team. There was no any kind of bias in our college. Not in terms of gender, colour, ethnicity, race, religion or caste, everbody was treated equally.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I lived in hostel for 5.5 years. Hostels were clean and tidy. I stayed in 3 sharing bedroom for 4. 5years and 2sharing bedroom for 1 year. Hostel fee was 80k-1. 2lakh every year including mess fee. There were indoor games facility in the hostel like chess, carrom, table tennis etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors were too kind and very helpful, felt like there are always brother to me. They guide, motivate you and help you out in every regard.

Admission :

It was always dream to became a doctor since childhood. I chose sims rc in mangalore because Mangalore is known as educational hub of Karnataka. Faculty was too good. Hostels were clean. I got seat through CET (Common entrance test) showed admission reciept to office and paid the fee.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its all about the satisfaction you get when you gotthe chance to wipe the tears of others.. Curriculum is Good but Private colleges should make them affordable so that everyone learns and also be grateful for their institution and also to the society University conduts exams once in a year usually at the time of December or January.. Its not as easy..it is difficult and this phase each and every medical student has to face..

Course Curriculum Overview:

We've been introduced CBME curriculum. This forced us to be good, the best version of oneselves. Taught us application based approach, increased ability for problem solving, practical approach, need to outsmart oneselves. The curriculum, though being a new addition was difficult to implement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in becoming a doctor and this course and college provide me with the opportunity to do that ...the teachers and the training and study we go through is essential to be a good doctor. It definitely prepares us to be a good successful doctor in future. The clinical postings to different departments start from the second year and give us the actual hospital experience and exposure. it's difficult at first but it's necessary to be a good doctor and further, the fact that we have access to a government hospital makes it better There are no such improvements i would like to see in the course ...i really believe it's really well managed and executed and I would like to appreciate it . There are 3 sessionals in a year and one university exams (at the end ) of each year
