JJMMC Admission 2025

JJMMC offers admission to MBBS, MD and MS based on valid scores in the NEET examination. Candidates clearing the entrance examination must appear for the counselling process.

Admissions to JJM Medical College are based on the valid scores in the entrance exams.
Eligibility for MBBS courses is 10 + 2 passed with PCMB as the main subjects. The same for MD/ MS courses is MBBS with 50% marks in it. For Diploma and PG Diploma, eligibility criteria are also MBBS passed with a minimum of 50% marks.
Valid scores in NEET-UG for MBBS, NEET-PG for admissions into MD and MS are the eligibility for these courses. Admissions to Diploma/PG Diploma is done on the basis of Merit in the qualifying exam.

The hostels are primarily available for students from Inside the campus, with fees ranging from 50000 INR per year. Most rooms accommodate 3-4 students, with some facilities offering 2-seater rooms equipped with furniture, AC, and an attached bathroom. However, there are concerns about cleanliness, infrastructure, and overcrowding as some rooms lack closets or shelves for the first two years, and water shortages and mice have been reported. Mess facilities are not uniformly available across all hostels, with only a few hostels inside the campus having a mess, while others rely on three campus canteens.

For 1st year students the faculty is great and approachable to some extent. Campus seems pretty decent. The faculty is great and a handful of them come with their own experience.
Infrastructure is good. Labs are good. Although there is a New building in construction.
Library is really good with ample number of books to refer to

There isn't a college sports ground of any sort

Course and examination of the college

The curriculum as well is provided by rguhs. It does to some aspect prepare you to face the real world and various academical exams. Frequent examinations are held every three months or so where the papers are evaluated internally whereas the University exams are evaluated by external faculty

Paid internship opportunity provided by the college

At the end of the 5.5 year course, the last year is dedicated to internship where the student is posted in certain departments for stipulated time. Merit students are paid 30k as stipend per month whereas private and management seat students are not. Apart from this students need to publish a few research papers

What is the total fees of the course and scholarship available in the college?

150000 (one lakh fifty thousand) is the fees for the college 45000 (forty five thousand) was the miscellaneous fees 5000 (five thousand) was lab fees This would be the fees for general merit students. It keeps increasing every year In case of private students the fee of the college is higher. A few scholarship programs are available online for sc and st categories or for people who need financial aid.

Events, clubs and facilities available in the campus

In the initial stages of college life clubs etc are held (mostly sports) along with a few cultural activities in the name of Karnataka rajyotsava, teachers day, freshers day,etc but they decrease through the year. Fests are conducted once in two years or so. The library has plenty of books with various versions of the same book. The classrooms are equipped with 6-10 speakers along with a projector for teaching. Sports matches take place in the general ground which is nearby to the college. Many groups like the sports club, students association club,etc are present.

Hostel accommodation in the campus

Various hostels and accomodations are present for both boys and girls. In sharavathi hostel for women each room is a 2 sharing room (compulsory) with beds provided along with fan, a table and a chair per person. The washrooms are common. The hostel mess was recently removed but many other messes are available close by at a walkable distance. The best feature about this hostel is it's proximity to the college. Registration process for hostel is pretty simple and the rooms seem to be affordable.

What are student views about their faculties?

The class of 245 members are divided into 2 batches where 1 teacher engages the class. During dissection the faculty student ratio is one to thirty (1:30). Jjmmc follows rguhs for the exam pattern and marking scheme Students failing internally are eventually passed but during the final exams if students failing they are made to write supplementary examinations, if they fail those as well then the students are retained for a year In the 1st year there is mentor-mentee programmes where each teacher is alloted a few students, where if students have any problems or difficulties can address them to their mentors or to any other teacher. Thomas sir, Smilee mam, raghavendra sir, manjappa sir, Preethi mam, Vivian sir, premchand sir and kantaraj sir are few of the best teachers there are.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

Jjm for me was chosen among various other colleges mainly because of its review and it's patient load. During the period of applying for a college I preferred Vydehi in Bangalore over jjm but my rank wasn't high enough to get into Vydehi. Although jjm was put below Vydehi on the priority list for me, I am grateful for getting into jjmmc. I also recommend jjm over other colleges in blr like MVJ, east point,etc. Admission in the college is possible if you fall inside the cutoff category/rank after writing the neet ug examination.

I choosed this college because it is old, faculty members are good, patients flow is more compared to other colleges. There is communication between our college with district government hospital and bapuji hospital and emergency, where we get to see lot of special and trauma cases. I didn't seat in JSS dental college in mysore because of my rank The admission is through KEA NEET mainly and some management seats are there

A college boosts a well-maintained campus with facilities like Library, Wi-Fi, good Sports activities.
Also BIET has commendable placement record, especially in branches like CSE and ISE. Top recruiters like Wipro, TCS, Infosys visit the campus to hire the students.

Admission:

The main reason behind I opted this college is that I am a native of Davangere and also this college gives the numerous placements as I received from the seniors. I also apllied for BVB college, but my first preference is BIET. Compared to BVB, Biet provides huge placements than BIET. But due to my family concern I opted this college. I have no rejection from any of the colleges as my rand is low(9590) which I have got many top colleges. But due to some reasons I sticked to BIET. Admission of the students is done through exams like CET, COMEDK and also management. Most of the students come through CET and the cutoff for CET is around 25000. Overall admission is usual as other colleges.

The college has a lot of greenery so people who love to walks and beautiful sunsets this is the place and the faculty is just mind blowing and yeah there are a few up and downs like the canteen facility can be better but overall it does the job .
Social interaction chances are great there are a lot of cultural activities, treasure hunts and college days so your year will be full of excitement.

Admission:

I myself did not apply to colleges per day but had got a college through karnataka counselling and in the first round I was given kvg suklia which in my opinion is a good college but is placed in a very rural area so it has no patient load and therefore I don't think it is a good idea to go there . To get admission you must have eligibilty in Neet and also you should clear the state merit cut-off which depends on the state merit of that year

A deep dive into Bapuji institute of engineering and technology -[BIET]: Faculities , facilities and fun

Likes

We have a clean and a very big campus , with 2 gate for entries.
Girls and boys ratio in a class is almost 50:50 .

Dislikes

Washrooms could be more cleaner, as some of the washrooms are not clean.
A cycle can be provided in our college free of cost so that students can move from one block to another block faster
As we have a very vast campus so we have to walk a lot

I have selected this college as it has one of the best placements activities undergoing when compared to other colleges. According to rank i could have got admission in other colleges but i had opted for this college as I had made my mind clear . So i have not faced any rejections until. I have taken admission through cet examination which is a multiple choice exam which was conducted offline in various centers and i had got a rank of 22458 which is a pretty good to get admission in a top colleges

The college is nestled between two medical private hospitals and a government hospital within walking distance.

Dislikes

Network and wifi are a bit iffy, although it's been told that it's been looked after.

Admission:

This college has one of the lowest fee rates as compared to other private colleges. However this doesnot make it a bad college. It's a decent college with good hostel and housing facilities around it with an easily approachable location. And all of these features invited me to take admission to this college. As in other colleges, the student might feel that there is unfairness or unnecessary strictness, however this college is the least toxic and in most parts, encouraging to students. The patient inlow is good with a wide range giving a comprehensive view on problems and training the students effectively so.

The quality of the infrastructure, including college campus was really beautiful, cleaned and full greenary place.

Dislikes

And the sports facilities are also good but not everyone utilized.

Admission:

I have applied for K-CET Exam and after that i applied GMIT college for engineering after that i choose BCA and join to the BIHE. Because the college academic score was really good and good campus, faculties and placements was really awesome that's why i choose this BIHE. I never get any rejectiona from other colleges. Admission structure of our college is they join Commerce and Science completed students.

To get admission in MBBS at JJMMC Davanagere you need to have a minimum rank of 1000-2000 as per previous year’s cut-off. Admission with a score of 78 is a bit difficult.
