Likes

there are three major cultural fest in our college they are maitri, sanskruthi and major fest kalarava which i like the most, and very encouraging clubs , very friendly faculties.
The students are assigned mentors where students can seek any kind of help .
There is Techno exhibition conducted one in a year on Ambedkar Jayanthi where students can showcase their talents through projects.

Dislikes

There should be improvement in hardware labs so students practise well .
Placement Classes should conduct very seriously.
Cleaning of classes should be maintained regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching methods in through board and chalk method and PPT presentations where one can learn real-world problem-solving technics in one career. There consists of mini and major projects at the end of 6 sem.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 45310 per year

Placement Experience

The placement oppurtunities start in 7 semester where several companie visit our college to provide placement opportunity around 5-6 major companies visit our college and other minor companies. The highest salary package is 2500000 per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for autonomous is around 45000/year. and for students, VTU is around 82000/yr i.e. there are two codes in our college one is EC004 which is autonomous and EC060 which is under VTU.

Campus Life

Our college has good environment and best place for being social. The infrastructure is better which consist common library and seperate branch library and around 3 sections for one branch. there consit several clubs in our college for seperate branches.

Hostel Facilities

There consist of two hostels in our college one for boys and other for girls . the girls hostel is divided in 3 sharing and 4 sharing with common mess and the 4 sharing rooms have common washrroms in the floor whereas 3 sharing as seperate washrooms in the room. there is good quality of food and fees is also affordable compare to others.

Hostel Fee: INR 89000 per year

Admission

There are sevaral branches in our college where cs branch has minimum cutoff following by ISE. Application is through KCET or Managment quota. The fees through kcet councessling is very low and of management quota is high. There are 3 rounds through kcet counceslling.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible for campus selection in their third semester like I in the sector semester will have someone internships where students will get to know about the industry they will work for many companies in internship and then they will be eligible for the interviews in the 4th year itself like the last two semesters the companies visitor in BMS College of engineering Amazon Google Microsoft and top companies all that all the most top companies because the strength of VMS College of engineering + killed students are very high percentage of students getting placed is like 7030 as in the 30% many of them of 2 highest teddy and some of them do research and other stuff so I would say 70% of them get placed and 30% of them do highest studies place do business and other stuff like star startups mostly I also do higher studies in doing MBA or masters in other fields of interest if I get a good placement I will do job for 1 hour 2 years and then do highest studies

My first year in PESITM

Placement Experience:

There is college placements in here. The students studying in 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. They should also not be having any backlogs. There are various companies that visit our college. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, L and T, TCS, Anventure etc. On an average around 70% to 80% students get placed who are eligible for placements. I actually plan on joining a IT company for a reasonable salary just for experience purpose. And then pursue higher studies

The college with good staff!!

Placement Experience:

From 8 8th semester, students become eligible for the campus. The companies like IT companies offer made. The highest package is 6 lakh and the lowest package is 3 lakh. 25% of students are selected for the campus. I plan to work at google company.

My honest review

I mainly choose this college because I felt our college offered more campus placements compared to colleges that I got selected into . I applied to every top colleges for courses such as CS ,IS and AI .But I was mainly aiming to get selected into Nitte Meanakshi Engineering college, SIT institute of engineering , DR Ambedkar Institute of technology, Acharya Institute of Technology , CMR UNIVERSITY . So First I got CMR college in first round , In second round of counsilling I got into Acharya institute of Technology, I though cuttoff would fall for 3rd round so waited for third round and got into Dr ambedkar institute of technology. I mainly aimed in getting selected into SIT college or Nitte Meanakshi college but cuttoff was higher compared to my Kcer rank . So I got rejected from those colleges .I think colleges I got rejected has more Internship and campus palcement compared to our colleges . I also heard SIT college has compulsory involvment of students in hachathon to attend placement classes . Admission process was simple , after i got selected into college I paid government fees through NEFT and brought the receipt and gave it to college where I also paid 12,000 rs towards college . Mainly students get into college but KCET or COMID-K exams . Generally kcet cuttoff was 18,000 for my cathegory and comidk cuttoff was nearly 20,000 . Mainly students prefer KCET as fees we pay is nearly half comapared to comidk exam fee...Read More
