- GOOD CURRICULUM: The curriculum is good and updated and is aimed to give us the required skill set to get placements or to pursue higher studies.
- HOME LIKE FOOD: The food provided in the hostels is great and homely, i didn't expected the food to be of this quality .
Dislikes
- PACKED SCHEDULE: The time-table is packed and there is very less time for us to work on ourselves and for any leisure activities.
- LESS HOLIDAYS: There are very less holidays provided by the college,
Course Curriculum Overview :
The relavance of the curriculum is very much, the curriculum is focused on covering the full potential of the domain that you are enrolled , you will be trained for both the soft and techical skills that are required fro an individual at any job or post. The curriculum is based on the new education policy 2020. So it is up to date and relevant to present times and future. There are three exams per semester: minor1 , minor 2 and majors. Minors are of 10-15 marks each and have one hour of duration while the majors are of 50 marks each and have duration of 3 hours.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities provided by the college are very less , almost zero. Students need to have their own sources in order to get internships. Gender specific interships are offered in the college from companies like amazon but they are only for girls, but for them too, students need to have a very strong resume and portfolio full of projects and leranings.
Placement Experience :
The placements in the college are dull , although the collge has an strong Alumini base, it fails to attract the major tech gaints of country as it is atier three college and it located away from capital and lucknow. Most companies prefer to colleges situated in lucknow as the connectivity there is good as compared to here. The average package offered by the companied in 2023 was about 700000 and the highest was 52 lac,which was an off campus placement from CSE branch. the highest on-campus placement was of rs.42 lac which was fromIT branch.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is as follows: rs 91300 is our total fees which splits into two major parts :- one is the tuition fees of rs.55000 and second comprises of the miscellaneous fees like buses , wifi , caution money , library etc. Scholarship in the form of U.P government scholarship is given to the students whose income is less than 2 lac per anum. the scholarship is of rs.55000 for general candidate and can go upto rs.1 lac for S.C candiadtes.
Campus Life :
My overall experience in the collge is average at its best, as it is a tier-3 college i didn't expect much from the college and there are many fields in which the collge can actually do better. I enjoy the environment with my friends , it was a blessing that i got a good circle of freinds, but for introverts , the college has nothing to offer except for exams,pressure and greenery. There are events happening in the college , there is an annual cultural fest going on but it is just average nothing really exiciting about it, but if you are thinking that whether there will be societies for my hobby , dont' worry there are clubs and societies for almost everything like fine arts, dance,music,finance,literature,sports and etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are good , the building of the hostels are old and are repaired from time to time, though there is a new girls hostel that is made a few years back and it is the best hostel that the collge can offer. The food in the hostel is good, the menu keeps on changing as per the demand of the students and the season, The registration for the hostel is done when you are called for the offline document verifiaction in the college. The fees for the hostel is rs. 23400 and the fees for mess is rs18000(updated this year onwards) per semester.
Admission :
The admission in MMMUT is given on the basis of rank obtained in the jee mains exam. I gave the jee main exam 23-24 in which my rank was 55601, and through general counselling i got admission in the computer science branch in the college
