The management could be better and the campus can be made a little more modern.

This college has a very practical approach to Masters in Counseling Psychology along with many connections to places for an internship. It provides a very good exposure to the practical world in the field of psychology. The course is very structured along with many interesting assignments to empower research and practice.

The course curriculum was very structured. The subjects were the ones that are useful in practice in the outside world. It covered all necessary therapeutic training along with assignments that helped in inculcating research. The research project and proper guidance for the same also were very well organized.

The college does provide internship for almost all programs. Specifically, psychology department provided very good internships where stipend started from 10,000 for some particular places.

The events celebrated in the college includes mainly small factions for each festival, An annual function where students perform in front of all faculty and trustee, Memorial day where origin if SNDT is celebrated and various department wise fresher's and farewells.

Because SNDT is a government aided college, the fee structure is very flexible and affordable. It includes a minimum fee for the year. The fees are asked for the whole year is taken at one go and it includes all provisions like library fee, health fee, etc.

No, not that I know of. But there are government grants available which can be applied for and availed.

SNDT is a women's university and hence no male students are there. Sports is promoted in college with regular practice sessions and even NCC is promoted for girls. There are teams that go and play representing the school. The school held a huge library with both offline and online database that is very much accessible to students.

The hostel is three-storeyed building with very spacious rooms. The rooms included a cot and a cupboard. Hygiene was maintained properly in the hostel. Mess food could have been better along with hygiene maintained in the mess. The rules and regulations are strict and could be made flexible with changing times.

The SNDT has a good alumni network that is appointed a time and again to come to college and guide juniors.

Exams are conducted twice a year. The exams are divided into two parts- internal and external exams. The internal exam consists of various assignments of each subject those are given throughout the semester. Each semester has an end semester exam which is the external exam.

The application for this college was available online. I downloaded the online form and filled it. The form along with required documents like degrees of past qualifications and identify proofs was couriered to the office if administration at college. Post that a Merit list was published. The name was announched in the Merit list followed by admission procedure.

The minimal but perfect for the role of the faculty was a remarkable thing about the Psychology department. The Head of Department continuously made efforts to promote the students and college. All the faculty was very approachable and guided for anything required.
