I liked course structure of btech mechanical,as it gave us aspects of engineering
Professors are supportive in nature and try to cover all doubts of students

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poorly developed, hostel distance from department is about 2 km
Hostel administration does not work properly

Course Curriculum Overview :

I liked classical mechanics during jee preparation, and was able to visualise problems very easily,so I chose mechanical engineering. Curriculum prepares me very well for real world problems as the subjects taught in classroom by experts using real world examples makes us industry ready. Teaching methods can be improved by creating more interesting lab experiments and telling their industrial applications and making students think about current problems faced by industry. Frequency of exams is very quick and difficulty level is between medium to hard.

Internships Opportunities :

Mondelez International (FTE) Bajaj FTE Microsoft (SWE) These are some companies which provide internship to manit students, based on their performance in Semester and online assessment done by company, and interview after that.

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester student placement starts Hero, bajaj, tata, essar oil, aditya birla group are some of the companies that visit MANIT campus for hiring and around 160 offers are made till till now. Highest package is around 18 lpa offered by BPCL and average package is 9 LPA for mechanical department. Around 78% of students from mechanical department have been placed till now After getting degree,i am going for higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our fees does not increase for our batch Approximately 10 lakhs of fees including tution, service and other compulsory charges. Mainly MMVY scholorship is given to MP resident students whose family income is less than 6LPA I haven't taken any kind of employment yet, companies come from 7th semester for recruitment purposes

Campus Life :

Maffick and technosearch are annual fest done every year in months of march and October respectively. Around 5 lakhs books and journals along with online resources are available in Library which is open from 9 AM TO 9 PM Monday to Saturday. Every class room is equipped with projectors and whiteboards. Along with sound facility. Their are many students clubs, and social groups which impact greatly on student lives , tell them about team work, time management and many soft skills.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are equipped with fan, bed, tables, chairs, and lights. Meal quantity is sufficient for every student and is is affordable to everyone, costing around 3500 rupees per month. Registeration is done before starting of every semester and students are required to fill hostel allocation form along with fees payment receipt Locality where rooms can be rented are Vaishali Nagar and TT Nagar, jawahar chauck

Hostel Fee : INR 36000 per year

Admission :

Cleared JEE MAINS exam and then gave jee advanced Application form, fees and dates are easily available on NTA JEE mains website. Reservation for OBS is 27%. Considering difficulty levels of exams , the difficulty level is between medium to hard In 2021 JEE mains held 4 times due to COVID In admission process, the main problem students face is contacting with college authorities.

Campus Placement of this college is very good means 95% oif the students were placed. from 6th semester you'll able to get placed but i recommend to complete the studies. Companies visited in Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. 95% of Students were placed from the campus selection. i'll planning for the campus selection from the college.

Placement Experience:

The campus is quite good, in a class of 70 students 50 get placed in a company. Although the average placement is Rs. 650000. some people get 16 lakhs 17 lakhs, 20 lakhs and some 44 lakhs. Many companies visit our campus just as SAP, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, etc. The highest packet of the previous year is 44 lakhs in Google and our average package is 650000. 75% + students are getting placed. I have planned to get a good job at a big MNC.

Placements are good for only CSE with an average package of around 5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, and tech Mahindra come for campus recruitment. No core companies visit here. If you are going for a core job you have to apply off-campus or prepare for the GATE exam.
