Course Curriculum Overview :

Here studies are good. teachers are expert in their technical aspect as well as behavior in any nit/iit th curriculum is very hectic and you have rub your ass hard to make assignments Practical files etc the duration between the mid and the end Sem is very short so at that phase you can get tension about the exam

Class Size : 114Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Here there is good internship stats the internship happens in 3rd year and they are all paid if done on campus the highest stipend is up to 80KPM you have to have a good cgpa and have to do projects according to core and non core .

Placement Experience :

My main reason to get into nitjsr is due to the placement stats it has very good placement stats when compared to other nits the average package is 20 lpa and for the electrical branch 18 lpa and the percentage of students placed is roughly 95 percentage in non core the placement in core in nit jsr is also very good and high paid for it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is large no of opportunities to get a scholarship in nit/iit such as e Kalyan,medhavi etc your total fees will be 1,02,000 rs but there is a provision for fee remission for underprivileged group in nit.the average package of nit jamshedpur is 20 lpa and have a probision of paid internship in 3 rd year.after 2/3 rd remission you have to pay 64333,and after full remission 20 333 .therefore the affordability is good.

Campus Life :

The campus life in nit jamshedpur is pretty good as there is a wide curriculum of technical sports and cultural events There are majorly three fests namely- ojass(technical fest) Culfest(cultural fest) Urja(sports fest)

Hostel Facilities :

When you came to the college for the document verification then only you get a room in hostel in first year you get a roommate but from second year you get a single room the quality of food in the mess is average non veg is pretty decent but veg meal is not so good but the hygiene in the mess is maintained .

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Admission :

I have taken the jee mains exam fo rentering into NIT JAMSHEDPUR you have score a percentile of 97 to 98 foe admission you have register in josaa which will give you the colleges you are eligible to apply then according to your prefrence you will get a college after one month you have report physically to the college for document verification and college allocation

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

This year's placement was almost 95%, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors and many more. Most students are places in JSW with a 9.6 LPA. The highest package this year was something around 14 LPA. And average was almost 9.6 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.
