Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is best for individuals who loves to argue and curious..law is itself a very vast course but interesting too.. different societies, competitions like moot courts, experiencing internship and many other things..as about my college MAIMS they not only go for academic performance but also look for it's use in students Carrier and how it can be done for our benifit. The difficulty of course and exam is moderate I would say you should have a good writing skills to cope up in exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are compulsory from 3rd year but you can start earlier too. For advice you should start from lower courts and try participating in moot courts and competitions for increament in your knowledge.

Placement Experience :

You can be eligible for placement in 8th sem and apart from campus placement there are options of off campus placements, civil services, and judiciary is a field where every law student try their luck atleast 1 time. Like I am personally thinking for upsc and second option as litigation. Highest package of college for law is about 10 lacs and avg is 5 lacs...about 70 percent placement guarantee is there and roi of college is also good..many law firms and companies come to seek newbies

Fees and Financial Aid :

Scholarship is available on the basis of your clat ranking as of now for 1st year...for academic structure when you confirm your seat in any ggsipu college you need to 60k to university to freeze your seat or it would be given to anybody else in next round..the college will charge you 80 to 90 k in 1st year and it would go upto 1 to 1.15 lac as you pursue. College placement are also here and interestingly alumni's of same University are some of our teachers with experience in legal sector and teaching sector.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure of the college is best with accordance to it's price ,locality along with a good academic quality provided to students...there are sports tournaments, events, fests and meets and competitions. College have several libraries with a separate for each course...law department have their own Library with all referal books and the book bank would cost you of 6000 refundable after end of semester..clubs and social groups like nirvana ,swaraag ,wac and many more

Admission :

For A Law student and want to be a part of MAIMS or any other colleges of GGSIPU you need to give CLAT exam for the same academic year you want to pursue in college and you should qualify 12th standard.. you can get reservation in GGSIPU colleges or else there are also management quota but they are not paid seats..college has a upper hand in maintaining their academic standards also there are frequent test and interactions with teachers for your nourishment...one should not fill as many colleges they are seeing there..you should be choosy in selection of your institute..MAIMS is one of the finest college for law in ggsipu and in Delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is focused on judiciary examinations. However its not adequate for other fields like corporate etc. The syllabus is very easy and not challenging. The curriculum doesn't focus on improving your application skills. There are 2 semester exams every year one is December and one in May. Exams are pretty easy. The exams pattern isn't based to judge the understanding on the subject but only on how much the students can memorize.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement for BBA and MBA programs. But if we talk about the Law program, there are no such good placements that are provided by the college. Though in papers there are companies and law firms which come to the college hardly any students get those placements or students prefer to go for out-of-college placements as they are better than the ones provided by the college. Students who are really serious about the program and skills are doing fine by finding internships and placements on their own.

University provide placements where manytop tier firms come to college for recruitment. Last few years have been bad for NLUD with only 50-60 percent placements. Before that there used to be 100 percent placement.

From 10th semester students start getting placement offers.. I din not recall some company names.. but they are not big names they are just normal law firms. Highest package one can get is 4 LPA. Very less students go for placement. My plan after degree is to study for judiciary exam.
