- The campus is nice. It's a bit small but it's near the hostel.
- They organise a few events in which after winning you may get cash prize.
- There is 100% placement. And the average package is 12lakh.
Dislikes
- The hostel rooms are too small. Still there is a ln occupancy of 3 girls.
- College cafeteria is really nice but it's been heard that they do not maintain hygiene.
- The overall faculties are good. But in our course a few doesn't teach well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The best thing is that they don't only give theoretical knowledge but practical also. We have done a lot of projects till now. Even students get live projects from the renowned companies which help them to enhance the CV.
Internships Opportunities
There are around 150 companies come every year to hire the students for internship. But, this year due to recession a lot of students didn't get the internship till now. Still, the CMC and the faculty trying to approach the companies to come on board.
Placement Experience
There is 100% placement in our institute. But, right now due to recession there are some issues faced by the institute. Right now, the highest package is Rs. 40 lakh and the average is Rs. 12 lakh. Right now, only 60% students have placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
There annual fees is Rs. 7 lakh. But in this year they have increased the fees by Rs. 1 lakh. But the most important thing is they provide a tuition fee waiver scheme to around 2-3 brilliant students who are economically weaker.
Campus Life
There are different groups in each course. There is management and placement committee through which we get the whole information about the events, internship opportunities etc. The college organise some events also. And IMPACT cricket tournament is one of them which is organised by the students only.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is a bit costly. The per year rent is Rs. 2 lakh and the food is not included in this. The rooms are too small. It's good for a single person but there are 3 girls live in a single room. So, it's really problematic for us to share the same bathroom and get ready in the early morning for the lectures.
Admission
I took admission in the PGDM Rural Management course through CMAT exam. Fir welingkar institute, your minimum CMAT percentile should be 80%. First of all, I registered myself by paying Rs 3000/- registration fees. Afterwards, I went to Delhi for GAPI. first, there was a PPT session in which they mentioned about the institute, then I went for Group Activity. Just after that, I gave interview in which the panelists asked the question on the basis of my background. The whole process was so smooth.
Interview Experience
There was Group Activity in which they gave us a sheet in which there was a drawing and we just had to talk about that. So, this was a bit interesting. They wanted to test our critical thinking, communication skills etc.
