Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum consists of 4 semester and in which last semester consist of only submission of research paper and dessertation.Various data science tools were added in the curriculum.Deep learning and machine learning were dealt deeply.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 160000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution was ?40500 along with ?2000 exam fees per semester. It was a 4 semester program. Campus placement for the department has been not much effective as compared from the other departments. Placement drives are about to be in full swing by April.

Campus Life :

The campus was a vast one and comprised of various departments. The university had every facilities and a top notch. Various arts and sports events were been conducted throughtout the year. Various seminars and event were provided to assist students.

Admission :

there is a centralised exam called Cucet which is an MCQ based exam through the scores are further used to determine the scholarship percentage. I almost abled to secure 15% scholarship over my total tution fees.

Masters during Lockdown in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in campus placements from the third semester. There was a strict attendance policy which were to be followed by every student if they wanted to sit for placements. We received emails from the placement coordinators regarding all the opportunities coming our way and the details of the different roles offered by the companies. In my class, almost all the students were eligible to sit for the placements, and 70-80% of them got placed as well. Most of them are still working with those companies. The main demographic location from which the companies came were Chandigarh, Bangalore, Gurugram, Mohali.

For MSc in Biotechnology admission at Chandigarh University, your bachelor degree with at least 50% marks (in case of 45% marks in SC/ST categories) in any branch of science like pharmacy, veterinary, agriculture, medicine (MBBS), medical lab technology and nursing.
