Course Curriculum Overview :

I had interest in botany, mainly plants how to grow them. Well the curriculum was good but needed improvement. In placements there should be improvements and more field study was needed The frequency was good and they were not that much tough except soil science

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 62000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Verka internship was available for agriculture students we got that after giving 1000 rupees fee. They taught us dairy and dairy products production. The projects we worked on were writing our own research on the last semester and we had to publish it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year-wise fees you paid the Tuition fees -120000yearly fees 10000admission fees the fees of your batchmates for categories other than mine was same Names and amounts of scholarships or financial aid that are available for students. - Financial aid available like loan

Campus Life :

We had fests very regularly like 1-2 every semester The library are also accessible and every department had libraries for studying and borrowing books The sports amd extracurricular activities are also present as there are lots of competitions. I was in the environmental group we had activities twice in a month

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel alloted to me was gobind hostel it had gym a playground, mess and each rooms had personal washrooms and every floor had water purifier Registration process was simple only the fees was needed and allotment of room was also quick there are facilities for parents to come and stay if needed for a day After the first year I moved to a flat near college which was just 10 minutes away flats were cheaper with amenities

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

I liked the campus the availability for things when needed, good environment, and stay options outside campus was also good. No I didn't receive any rejections cause my first option was CU The admission process is simple and doesn't take that much time as I came from kerala, the admission department is fast.

Faculty :

The faculties are approachable and very good The faculties I liked were -aditi raina, pooja , abhishek , navjot, aditya rana, gurpreet There were no such faculties we didn't like There are 3 exams modules in each semester-mst-1, mst-2, and final exams

Night Life :

The timings were 11 - 7 for gyms, cafeterias and libraries, public area was open 24*7 Hostels would close at 7pm but you can get the permit to go out if you have wardens permission with parents permission Cafeteria, near the hostels were the famous places, gharuan not safe to roam

Chandigarh University and Us students

Placement Experience:

From last year students are eligible for placement drives. Accenture, tata consulting and codeyoung recently visited. The highest package as of now is ctc 7.5lpa. For placements priority is given to the engineering students. Comparatively we science students get less chances of getting placed.

Placement Experience:

From the last 2 semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Too many companies visited like google, amazon, Dell, meesho etc. The highest package according to my knowledge is around 14lcas per annum. Almost all good students get placed that serious about studies. My plans after getting a degree to take a placement at a very good package.

SVIET is good college for the placement and brilliant future of students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. there are many companies visited on the campus and no. Of offers are made. The highest package offered by the companies is rupees 15.5 LPA offered by Amazon.com. There are overall 60 to 70% students who are getting placement. After my degree, I have to that a job in a well reputed company.

College: My Experience

Admission:

I remember that i that time i was young and i have an extreme determination inside me i love my country and it was everything for me as a person i respect army and farmers too much. Tried to crack Indian defense exams but i was fail so then i took my admission in bsc Agriculture the course is not much popular among students but the demand for tarined professional in agriculture field is very high

Placement Experience:

No i hadn't avail any placement because i left my course in 2nd year due to some family issues but as i see the top MNCs top companies like Nestlé, Microsoft, Amazon Flipkart Google etc came for placement i remember in 2016 more than 300 companies came to the college

Remarks:

Positive is that it's location is very good. The teaching is superb. It is located in chandigarh. Markets are close to college, student do not suffer more for household things, hostel facility are very good. Negative may be that it give only one day vacation in weak.
