Natural beauty, fresh air, students go with bicycles to college

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and outdated. No new buildings are there
Roads are not that good. Condition of roads are not upto the point.
Hostel room condition os very poor, no proper cleaning of washrooms and toilets.

Course Curriculum Overview

As our university is the first agricultural university in india. And nowadays interest in agriculture is increasing. The faculty of the university is well qualified and provide ample amount of opportunities in it.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

After persuing bsc agriculture students can further go for higher studies. College placements upto 7 - 8 lacs are common. Different agri based companies provide placements to students. I want to pursue mba in agri business management.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are there like apratna be based upon the performance of the students. Icar also provide different types of scholarships. On the basis of ogpa university grants scholarships. Financial support is provided by the university.

Campus Life

Every students live in hostels so everyone co-operate with each other. Official and unofficial freshers for strengthening the senior junior bond. Others activities like annual day, agriculture fair, agri night etc occur at regular basis.

Hostel Facilities

In first year 3 students lives together. Students get rooms on random basis. In first year students lives in nehru bhawan then in second year students are shifted to chittaranjan bhawan 1 where they get single room to live.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

Admission is by exam and upto 300 rank you can get bsc ag easily and for obc and other vast depends upon the students applied. For admission related details visit website of university.Generally admission forms are available before 2 months of exam.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem they were getting opportunity to having a seat in placement. Probably there are 5-8% got placements of about 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum in agriculture. My plans are to grow my own business.

In the final year or last semester, the student is eligible for campus placement, not at all courses placement is available, professional courses the eligible, but all the degree is valuable because it is gov. College. You have to maintain a percentage in every semester for getting a placement minimum of 65%. My plans after my degree are to do MSC.agriculture.
