Remarks :
College in terms of study, knowledge, placements is very good but there should be some extracurricular activities and sports facilities too where we can pursue our dreams and hobby also.
Entrance Preview :
Because its the number 1 college of Indore and the only college that offered the course on hotel management in the year 2014. Here I got the chance to do training in a 5-star luxury hotel. My friends, family, teachers all suggested me ips college because of its reputation and this college gives the highest placement in comparison to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Bachelor's in hotel management and catering technology is a four-year course. Here we learn about the four major departments and rest are minor subjects. In four major department - f&b service, food production, housekeeping, and front office comes. In our college theory and practice are the major points. there is total 8 semester consisting of the main exam, internal exam and external exam.
Placement Experience :
In hotel industry chances for placement and job opportunities is very very vast. you will never feel like you don't have work to do. our college provides placement in Taj, Oberoi's and Itc hotels. what i have seen is our college provides 100% placements. job opportunities are in almost every field related to food and beverage like railways, aviation department, colleges, army, etc.
College Events :
we celebrate so many events in our colleges 1. Freshers party 2. Teachers day 3. Independence day 4. Themes day where we select a theme and make decorations according to it, make food and do services according to a theme like goan theme ,Mughlai theme etc 5. farewell party 6. college establishment party 7. food festivals
Fee Structure And Facilities :
the fee structure is feasible for all student's. fee for now 2018 is around 85000 which consists of dress and food. students get food in the college itself where the students make their food in practicals and are also consumed by them. so the fees include the food and dress cost in it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College does offer scholarships for sc/st/obc students. scholarship depends on the fee structure we are paying. we can pay fees in 2 or 4 installments. college do offer loan facility also
Campus Life :
Campus life was so maintained as our profession needs a well calm, understanding and pleasant personality. in our course gender ration is 60% boys and 40% girls. There are no extracurricular activities for hotel management students. no sports facilities are there for hoteliers. Practical classes are having a lots of fun where we enjoy ,learn and make bonds
Hostel Facilities :
i am not staying in a hostel but with my friend's reference I can tell that hostel facility is awesome. hostels are provided in the main campus of our college where 2 students stay in one room. rooms are furnished with attached bathrooms. warden is also there to take care. separate hostels for boys and girls. talking about mess food, it depends on the one's choice what they like to eat. different food menus are there for the different day. the food menu is repeated weekly. Canteens are also available in the campus.
Alumni/Alumna :
seniors are very much helpful. they help us in practical as well as behave as friends and stands at every moment with us. the alumni network is nice but strict too.
Admission :
I contacted directly to the college and from their they sent me to the hotel management department. Here the senior faculty told me all about the procedure and documentation. they took me in their vehicle for counselling and i only submitted my documents and the whole process by done by themselves only.
Faculty :
Faculty of our college is very experienced faculty from a hotel background and is very supportive. They teach each and everything in detail and tells every real circumstance we need to face in the hotel industry and the way to solve them. All faculties are the good mentors and always helpful to solve our personal life issues also.
