Course Curriculum Overview
Examinations are conducted timely, however, the strictness in the schedule for the classes in the Information Technology department is very weak and casual. Classes often get cancelled, and laboratory facilities are not even the bare minimum.
Internships Opportunities
The College provides internship and training opportunities to the students of the 3rd and 4th years. Usually in the new AI and Development startups as roles of Front-End or Back-End or Full-Stack Software Developers and Engineers. Through companies such as IBM, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc.
Placement Experience
Campus Placement formally starts from the 7th semester... In our department, around 85-90% get placed by the 4th year considering both on- and off- campus placements. Others may opt for higher studies or go for start-ups, etc. There's usually a record of companies such as Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Media.net, NetMeds, Amazon, Aakash and few others visiting the campus for recruitment processes.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the Information Technology department, the first-year fees are a total of 34,377/- to be paid in 2 semesters And 25,532/- each for the subsequent 3 years, each to be divided and paid in 2 respective semesters each year. The Examination fees are 1,200/- per semester, and 1,000/- for the backlog, if any.
Campus Life
Several fests are held in the college, such as the Technical Fest Srishti, Annual Event JECLAT, and other Sports, Entertainment and Educative Club Events, most of which are managed and organised wholly by the students of the college. The Authority and Management pay little interest and attention in most cases. There are more than 20 Clubs organised by the students in our college, 5+ active clubs... Such as the Coder's Club [DnC, i.e. Divide and Conquer], Cyber Security [Zero Logon], IEEE, Centre for Innovation [CFI], etc. are some of the Technical Clubs... The Campus has a lot of greenery and is huge, but has very little maintenance...
