The mainly liked the ecofriendly green campus . which gives us a good nature exposure

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i was passionate about AIML from the very beginning itself and i got a very good exposure about AIML in this college . faculty student ratio is about 1: 10 The faculty members have a good level qualifiaction The exams are moderate and of we study daily we can easily pass

Internships Opportunities

We the students get offered by research opportunities and it is also quiet benificial for us to make a good profile and also the internship opportunities is increasing in our college day by day , which is a great thing for us .

Placement Experience

After 6th sem a student can easily be eligible to appear for the college placements companies visited - TCS , wipro , infosys, media.net and etc highest package offered till date is 74 lpa and the avg package offered is around 9 lpa my plans is work in a FAANG company after getting the degree

Scholarships that are available in this campus are : SVMCM OASIS ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIPS and also many others The jobs that are available in the campus are quiet decent and have a good placement stats tha avg placement is around 9lpa

SRISTI AND JECLAT ARE THE TWO BEST FESTS THAT ARE ORGANISED IN OUR JGEC CAMPUS BOOKS ARE VERY GOOD IN QUANTITY IN OUR LIBRARY EACH CLASSROOM HAVE SMART PROJECTOR FACILITY SPORTS FACILITY THAT WE GET ARE - BASKETBALL FOOTBALL AND MANY OTHERS CLUBS - CFI , AZANTRIK AND ETC

Hostel Facilities

We have a plenty of rooms in our campus . In each room 3 students are allocated food diet is maintained by the stuydent themselves . The registration of hostel happens after college admission hostel fees - 16000 per sem locality - maskalai bari

You ned to appear in WBJEE and must have a decent rank to enter this college application is available in wbjee webisite appliaction fees 500 rupees In the admission process the changes that should be made is that verification centers should be near the district .

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

According to my West Bengal joint entrance examination rank I said for the counselling in the first round I got Kalyani Government Engineering College with IT department but that was with the reservation under EWS quota with rank 2869. As I was not able to get me EWS certificate my admission there was cancelled and then according to my preference I got Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College with electronic and communication engineering department.
