I like the lush green campus and the placement

Dislikes

Campus facilities could be improved by increasing the number of food outlets.
Hostel facilities are not upto the mark .

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is really based on the modern aspects of industry requirements , but in first all the branches have study common sujects of all departments. I would say curriculum is really nice after 1st year.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

College provide two opprtunities for internships in the college . One in the 3rd year and other in the 4th year. All the FANG companies use to visit the campus for giving offers and ppo. I will say internship is well and good here

Placement Experience :

Even in the time of recession the TNP cell is providing top notch opportunities to the students , placement stats for the CSE branch is really good i.e 19PLA average . And also internship opportunity is provided twice during the course .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees in this college is quite more than other colleges like IITS, NITS but there are many scholarships available on the basis of merit and financial conditions . Anyone can get scholarship if he/she have a GPA of 8.5

Campus Life :

Campus of bit mesra is lush with many facilities available inside the boundries only .There are many clubs on various domains . The infrastructre of the academic and department building is top notch but when it comes to hotel room its not even upto the mark . Hostel rooms are really congested and unhygenic

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities is the aspect of bit mesra where it lacks drastically . The hostel rooms provided here is very small and congested. And the hygiene is also not maintained . Food and catering provided by the hostel is not good.

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Admission :

Admission process was really smoth. Admission in this college is through JOSSA and CSAB rounds . Merit list completly based on JEE MAIN ranks . cutoff of my branch AI&ML was CRL 18434 for all india quota .

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

This year's placement was almost 95%, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors and many more. Most students are places in JSW with a 9.6 LPA. The highest package this year was something around 14 LPA. And average was almost 9.6 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.
