Remarks :
College management is not upto the mark. Students have to take all the tension, stand in queue, even take permissions for good things that are in favour of the college.

I gave a written test followed by interview in the college itself for taking admission based on management quota(direct admission).
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course for my branch is fantastic. Faculties have great knowledge about the subjects. Specially hod sir(Head of the Department) is very much concerned for the students, their placement and introducing new technologies in the college. He is so much interested in introducing students the latest technologies by organizing seminars, and other training courses like machine learning, hpc etc.
Internships Opportunities :
College doesn't provide any internship. They offer various summer trainings which any year student can do.
Placement Experience :
Placement is awesome for CS/IT Department. Various numbers of companies visit and hire CS/IT students. Big companies like TCS recruites students of all the branches in masses. EC students also get various job opportunities in IT sector and their core profile as well.
College Events :
The biggest event happening in imsec is Chakravyuh. It is inter college sports fest. In this fest more than 50 colleges participate. There is a fest called VIBGYOR. This is intra college arts and cultural fest of college. Only battle of bands is inter college. There is a huge techfest every year in the college. In which students from all the department participate and present their projects. Winners are awarded with prize money as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure of college is average, comparatively not very high not very low. Hostel fees keep on increasing every year with no improvement. This year first year college fees is approx 1.39 lacs and hostel three seater is 78K. Although the fee is different for different years. Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no scholarship from college side. But there is scholarship offered by university. The scholarship need to be filled by student and upload all required documents as well.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is good specially for branches like cs, it, and ec. While there are very less boys in BT, there are few girls in me and ce. Extra curricular support is very poor from college side. All arrangements need to be done by students only, college doesn't support. While there is good support for sports.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are good except food. There is wifi in hostel, which has no limit but some websites are blocked. Rooms are large enough which is sufficient for survival and studying. There are three seater and two seater rooms in hostel. One seater available for girls. Few rooms also have ac, and attached toilet bathroom as well.
Alumni/Alumna :
I have great contact with seniors as well as with alumni. They are very supportive and helpful. Support of seniors play important role in approaching in right direction in any field, whether technical or non-technical.
Exam Structure :
Exam are held regularly thrice in each semester. Two of them are referred to as sessional and the last one is called PUT(Pre University Test). College have various labs for all the department in very good conditions with supportive lab assistants. There are continuous two lectures for labs.
Admission :
I gave a written test followed by interview. Although my written test didn't gone well but interview was good so I got my desired branch CSE. I got to know about this college from one of my school senior who was studying in the same college. I didnt gave entrance exam for the university AKTU, through which it is affiliated. So there were no much procedures for direct admissions. Just visited college along with the required documents and given test. Submitted half of the fees on the spot and sent remaining half by post.
Faculty :
The faculty of CSE department is amazing. HOD sir is very talented and interested in giving knowledge to students. He helps and cares a lot of good students. He is perfect motivator and guide for interested students. Other faculty is also very helpful and supportive. They are ever ready for clearing doubts of students.
