Remarks :

Coming to this place has been a life-changing moment for me. It didn't give me just a graduation degree, but a degree in life. Be it academics, campus life, meeting new people, faculty, friends, everyone and everything has been on point. It just makes you blend in with it's accepting and warm welcoming aura.

Entrance Preview :

I didn't have to give any entrance examination since I knew already that I want to get enrolled in BA. Honors in English. I got to about this college through the college posters around. Also, my brother's friend referred this college too. And, I am thankful for his reference.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum here is informative and fun at the same time. The subjects we study are distributed in a manner that nothing is left untouched as per the programmes requirement. In the last semester, the students are given the opportunity to work on their choice of topic and to do their research work, under the guidance of professional mentors.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, our college provides internships. I don't know much in detail as I have never been into one. But, students who have worked here have pretty good experience with their internships. The internships are open at the time of admission season. And, the average stipend they offer is around Rs. 10,000. Overall, it's a really good chance to earn some money. And, you'll also get a certificate for same.

Placement Experience :

In my course to be specific, there is no agenda for placements as such. But, as per the engineering sector and the business management sector is concerned, they get plenty of opportunities to try their hands on in order to grab the best platform for them. Names like IBM, HCL, Dell, etc. visit the University with some handsome packages to offer. Now, it totally depends on your performance in the academics and the skills you got from your education till then. If you got some good records on your scorecard and skills in your mind, there is no stoppage then.

College Events :

The University organizes multiple events. Here, we celebrate every festival and event with full zest and enthu. Be it cultural programs like its annual fest- Chorus, technical fests like Constructo and Contrivance. Students take participation in masses. They organize Sharda Cup also, it's a sports competition organized by the University. Apart from these, they organize many health-related programs. Like, recently, they had a marathon in which many locals and people from other cities also took part actively and made it a grand success. And, many other events like debate competitions, elocutions, cultural competitions keeps on going on time to time, to give students encouragement to work on their curricular and hidden talents also.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is quite feasible according to many other places and it's worth too as per the quality of education, campus life, learnings this place offers you. It's just the medical programs that are bit expensive. But, then again, when you will enter this place, the culture here, the time you will spend and the facilities this place will provide you, will make it all worth at once and for all. So, don't worry about the fee structure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The University offers scholarships to the students who score 70% or above that. The concession depends upon the percentage you have acquired in your academic sessions.

Campus Life :

To talk about the campus life, I would just say that if you wish to have the fun at it's best in your college life, this place should be your choice without any doubt. The crowd here is so awesome. You will have a chance to learn about the various cultures of this world, as here they have students from across 74+ nations. It's such a treat to see the people from different nationalities and culture enjoying at the same level and sharing some of their best moments. Talking about the infrastructure, it's one of the best around as compared to any institution. They have well-equipped labs so as to offer the students the opportunity to work on their experiments and the researchers. Also, they encourage you to know your hidden talents and showcase them in front of all with full zest and confidence, through various competitions. For example, technical competitions, cultural competitions, literary competitions, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are great. The Institution provides you with all the required amenities. I stayed in the hostel in my last year, and the experience still resides in my heart with some great memories. They have around 7 hostels inside the campus- 3 for boys, 3 for girls, and 1 international hostel. Each hostel has a mess of its own. They serve 4 times meal a day, and each meal has a set timing. They have in-campus laundry. And, for the convenience of the students, the first 20 washes are absolutely free. In fact, they have a fitness center or a gym too. In short, they have kept in mind about all the requirements a student could think of, and have provided them in the best way they could.

Alumni/Alumna :

My seniors were so supportive and friendly. They didn't impose that seniority impact forcefully. They always helped me with my educational cores and personal too, whenever needed.

Exam Structure :

Every semester has sessionals (midterms) and semesters (end terms). The midterms carry 20% of weight in final results, and the end terms carry 50 to 60% weight, and the internals (CA mars) carry 20 to 30% weight in the final results. So, you have to be careful not only about your academics but also about your projects, assignments, tests, overall behavior, etc.

Admission :

Sharda University conducts an entrance examination common for all the programmes- Sharda University Admission Test, commonly known as SUAT. I appeared in the test. You have to clear the test with minimum 60% marks. Though they won't show you the marks or won't let you know how much you scored, you will get a call from them whether you have passed the level or not! I got a call from the university for the Personal Interview. The interview was so good and relaxed, and the person who took my interview turned out to be one of my faculties. And, till date, she is the best mentor I got. Within a while, I was asked to submit my documents along with the documents that you will have to get self-attested and deposit the fees. Finally, the things were done for me.

Faculty :

The faculty of the University is so damn good. Be it there qualifications, their experience or their nature and attentiveness towards the students, they excel in each and everything. With an extreme number of years' experience and high-qualification, the faculty has a lot to offer you. With their high-qualification, they work on your theories and concepts, and with their experiences, they prepare you with every skills and technique that are required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I'm preparing for civil services and the syllabus is very similar to the Civil services exams so it is very beneficial for those who want to prepare for a government job. The faculty is good. All the teachers are very helpful and supportive they treat every student very nicely. They are extremely cooperative. All the members of the faculty are highly qualified and sober. The way of teaching is very good. They try to understand every student's compulsions and teach accordingly. ECC follows a semester vice pattern for all the courses and exams are very regular. You may get irritated because of the exams, internal exams happen every week, and semester exams at every 6 months
