Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course , cause I wanted to be a software engineer The ratio of faculty to student is 1:8 The faculties are highly qualified with higher degrees We have 2 exams per semester one midsem and other end sem

Class Size : 67Course Fees : INR 245000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is a practice school in our college that provides a stipend along with experience, it can be in the 7th semester or 8th semester There are many companies, that come for placements offering Cognizant, Byjus, Wipro, Tcs, etc.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements Many companies visited for example Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, Tcs, and Wipro. 80% of the students get placed every year. Average package received is 6-10 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of this college are reasonable compared to different colleges It costs us around 2.45 per year including mess and hostel facilities You can take a loan too. It's available There are practice schools as well with stipends.

Campus Life :

The technical fest name is Nirman conducted in month around of Feb march The cultural fest name is zygon Conducts around same as nirman Feb march There are many clubs you can enroll yourselves in the interested club In regular intervals sports cultural events competition takes place

Hostel Facilities :

The room accomodation is for four people We are provided with separate cupboards, chairs and tables Electricity is provided 2 barlight and 2 fans are provided The meal quality is far better than other colleges it is 22500 per semester

Hostel Fee : INR 32000 per year

The admission process was easy no chaos All the information regarding application forms, fees, and dates can be found at our college site. Silicon.ac.in No, I don't want any improvements it's perfect as it is the way it helds

KIIT- The Real Truth Of College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is similar to all the colleges. but the extra curricular facilities provided by the college, differen societies present in differen domain will help you in growing your skills and knowledge in your sector. College keep organising tech fest, alumini meet, and global awareness meeting to keep the students up to date with present world. Course curriculum can be improved, I personally think, many new elective subjects are added which are not beneficial for my stream CSE.And the attendace is very compulsury for getting ood marks. Smart Boards and White Board teaching ares used which depends on teacher's choice. There is normally two exams in a semester , midsem of 20 marks in time 1hr 30 min, and endsem exam of 50 marks in 3 hr, and the rest marks depend on subject faculty. Mostly examination level is normal , if you are good student you can cover the syllabus in 1 week before exam.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
