Overall our cotton University is very good college with good teachers that are so helpful. I would like to request all the students reading this article would themselves go and see the college and talk with the faculties to get to know about them
Entrance Preview :
I did not appear for any entrance examination, I got direct admission based on merit. This college gives admission to the admission fully based on merit and by no other means.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is very good, from the early start of classes to end of semester classes are held regularly until it is too important to cancel the class, the practical lab is very good with fine accessories overall chemistry department is a good department in cotton University
Internships Opportunities :
Our college doesn't provide internship but provides good placement opportunities as the teaching level is very high so we can get quality teachers
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are very good, every year we get many research scholar and p.hd aspirants every year many new students get selected as associate professors in some renowned colleges of India with the good package of the salary of about 15 to 16 lakhs
College Events :
Our college organizes many programs every year like versity week, cotton Mahotsav, fresher party, farewell party and many other events keep on happening more often in which Cottonian participate actively and showcase their talent in a good manner. Many inter college or school programs also keep on happening
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very low so poor students need not worry even if the poor students cannot provide that minimum fees too than he or she can even afford some scholarship schemes to get money so that he or she can be able to pay the fees it is a government college with good facilities
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, the scholarships are available for poor students. Not one or two, many scholarship schemes are there and students can apply in all of them to get a good amount of money so that he can continue his studies without any delay that's a good move by the college authority
Campus Life :
Campus life is awesome, the campus is spread over hectares of land, all departments being located in different places, extracurricular activities are awesome in this college there is even a Union body for different fields like debate secretary for debate, Cricket secretary for cricket and many others are there.
Hostel Facilities :
I would rate 8 out of 10 to cotton hostels they are good every student residing in a hostel become like a family member there are 6 hostels of cotton University, the foods are good, seats are limited in hostels hostel fees is not much but still less than those pgs out there near the college.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our college has a huge alumni network, as the college has established on 1901, all the seniors are very helpful for their old college as they stand like pillars with us when we are facing problems. They evens motivates us for doing good for college as it feels great to make your college popular
Exam Structure :
Exams are held regularly after every end of chapters. Practical exams also keep on happening frequently, students keep on getting surprise tests which is good I think as students can stay prepared by being up to date. Sessional exams keeps on happening.
Admission :
I got 89% in class 12th, so i got admission in bachelor of science in chemistry. This college gives admission to the students fully based on merit and no by none other means, The admission fee is also very low so no worries for poor students. So every students must study very hard to get a tag of cottonian as it is the matter of pride to study in citton in assam
Faculty :
The faculty members are very good, friendly, and fatherly motherly nature interacts with students in a very polite manner, all the professors are well qualified with Ph.D. degree and all the associate professors are m.sc qualified overall teachers are very good and kind
