Course Curriculum Overview :

I picked this degree because I've always been interested in computers and coding and I viewed this as a chance to pursue my interest and make my passion a career at the same time. I'm glad I picked it out because I have been able to build positive relationships with lot of good faculties. The faculty here is great and very helpful.

Class Size : 73Course Fees : INR 9650 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Every Branch has different companies looking for interns. For IT department, the companies that seek interns are mainly from TechnoPart such as Qburst, IBS, etc. There are also other companies that offer internships in kochi and banglore. The companies also offers stiphend of around 10k to 15k.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements begins ath the conclusion of the third year, and during the last year, numerous firms come for the interviews. The major companies which hire our freshers are IBM, QBurst, Wipro, TCS, etc. The average package offered is around 4 to 8 lakh per anum. Each branch has a different placement percentage. Out of all other departments, IT departments gets most interviews with 70% to 80% of students receiving employment offers

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual tution fees is around 10k for a year. The college provides information about the additional financial aid options such as scholarships. The college offers no stipened at all, although students from the weaker section are eligible for grants and stipends from the Government of Kerala.and from the Central Government

Campus Life :

Despite the campus's smaller size than other colleges, there are no limitation on the kind of activites that are carried out. Our college host big Techfest like Aagneya, where celebrities are invited to perform live. In additional there are many cultural societies and tech socities in our campus. The college has a good infrastrucute also.

Admission :

The admission process was really simple and personnel was very helpful. The application form was given to us by the help desk at the administrative block entrance, and they assisted me in filling it out as well. A list of documents was needed at the time of admission. The officials present in the office would lead us through the procedure and provide us with the details of the free structure. Overall, I dont think see any improvement required in the admission process.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
