Remarks :
I take admission in this college by WEBJEE or called West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam . I got a rank of 7043 in Genaral Quota and i got the chance to study Computer Science in this college . In my time the cut off was near 7500 for Computr Science . After 12 th any student can appear for WEBJEE and with a rank near 12000 he can get a chance is this college. application form can be get from the the official website of Webjee.nic.in apllication fees is nearly Rs750 .This exam conducted in the month of February or March . Student can take admission in this college Through JEE Main which is an all Indian Engineering Entrace Exam . After 12 th with Physics and Math anyone can apply for this course . After diploma anyone can apply for Btech in this college in 2 nd Year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Faculty members are good in this college . They are very supportive and Helpful . But they also are strict in case of studies . The scheduled is very tough and tight . the Course Cirriculam follows the MAKAUT rules and Syllabus. The syllabus is good enough if you want to knowlot of things but at the same time it is boring in case of some subject where you could not grow your interest . I choose The Computer Science Course because it the most demanding course in my time and offer a good placement with a good salary . I also have wish to make somethis new and this course enlighten and give chance to make something new . There are nearly 73 students in my class and a total of 300 students in the college . The Faculty stuff number is enough good . there are 5 departments and those are CSE , IT , AIML, ECE and EE . Every department has nearly 2o professor with one Principle and two Director . Each Teaching stuff is qualified enough . Minum qualification is Mtech.
Placement Experience :
from 6 th or 7 th sem students are eligable for campus interview. Lots of multinational companis like TCS , WIPRO, COGNIGENT , NAMURA, ASIANPAINTS etc compaines came in our college. Highest package is nearf about 10 lakhs per annual and lowest is 3 lakhs per annual and average is 4 -4.5 Lakhs per annual. 87%students get the placements. i want to get ajob after completting this course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees needed is near about 384000. Where in the first Sem we have to pay nearly 64000 and rest of the sem is nealr 45000- 48000. Fees can be payment online or cash or by NEFT. Student Credit Card Loan is applicable and granted in this college . The college helps offer a=to get a Loan from State Bank of India easily . for vey few student they made fees recudance sturcutre. Any Scholarship can be granted in this college like SVMCM or Swami Bibekananda Merit Cum Scholarship or any National Scholarship and as well as Cast Scholarship is also granted , Private Scholarship is also granted .
Campus Life :
The campus is not so much great but at the same same time is not so bad beacuse the campus is big enough and have a playground where any student can play football and cricket and there is a batminton court also .No take fest is conducted in the college except the Farewell . Lots of books and Journals are present in the library . Lots of old books are present. Huge Library with a hug enumber of books and they have digital Library also and college Library is connected through National Library . Lots of classroom are available and the classrooms are airy and spaceous but their was no air condition system . Every classroom has a camera and have a wi fi facilty and the Labs are great with air condition and well decorated. In the month of February there was a sports event and in every sem there is a Football Batminton Cricket Table Tenis Tournament in each Year . The girls also have football tournament and cricket tournament specially.
