Course Curriculum Overview :

As per my rank I find this course as better option. Here faculties are good and well educated.They are very interested in teaching their subject.The boys and girls ratio is about 7:1. Professors are well qualified.Some of them teach in easy manners so that many students understand in the class.They also take doubts during class. MId semester exam happen in about 1.5 months and end sem in about 4 months.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 97260 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Google Apple Microsoft IBM Mc Kinsey Aditya birla etc with stipened about 20000 per month. Projects like build a model that generate the topic from given video file used google cloud speech to text to convet long audio file into transcript.

Placement Experience :

After 6th semester for B.Tech and 8th semester for Dual degree ,students become eligible for campus placement. Compaines like Google,Apple,Microsoft,IBM,Aditya Birla,etc.About 1600 offers IIT KGP got in 2023. Highest package is 2.68 crore per year and average is 22.13LPA. Placement percentage is about 90%. I want to do job after getting degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are not increase much in year unlike other college.For a general student a total of 3 lakhs is cost of study per year,but for a reserved category it about 1to 1.5 lakhs. I took a loan from SBI bank which is located in the campus as student get loan easily at very low interest.

Campus Life :

Kshitij and Spring Fest are two main annual fest and tech fest which is celebrated in month of January every year. IIT Kharagpur has the one of the largest library in India.One can easily issue books and journals. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors,sound system and blackboard. Sports like cricket,badminton,basketball,tennis,hockey,ballyball,swimming and many other sports are played in capmus.Extra curricualr activities include National Service Scheme(NSS),National Cadet Corps(NCC) and National Sports Sports Organizatin(NSO). Clubs like TFPS,spAts,Business club,code club,180 dc are some students run socities.

Hostel Facilities :

Room have facilities like 24/7 light and internet with study table. Meal quality is good and change every day. Registration process for hostel is done after we get collage admission letter. Rooms or PG are available at Prem bazar which is located near campus.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

Admission to IIT taken on the basis of marks of JEE Advance exam.Only those who qualified JEE Main exam will eligible for giving JEE Adavance exam. Application form,application fees and appliction dates all are done ONLINE in mode only from the website JEEMain 2024 and JEE Advance 2024. Students get reservation benefits in fees and seats.Fees get reduced and student get better branch at low rank.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.
