Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is of 5 years, in which i will obtain both Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology degree. The Faculties are so good and over talented, and they teach everything properly. The term exam happens every 4 months.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is so much opportunities here as it is one of the best college in India indian institute of technology kharagpur is known for one of the best internship opportunities in India which is very good.

Placement Experience :

Placements are very good, especially for my branch and curriculum. You can also get placements abroad. I plan to have a decent job after graduating from Indian institute of technology kharagpur. Nearly all students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The semester fees are 1 lakh per semester. Mess and hostel fees are 54800 per semester. Along with these, some extra fees are also applied. But Many scholarships are available to avail like INSPIRE and Reliance.

Campus Life :

In January, Kshitij and Spring Fest are conducted successively in one week. Kshitij promotes the technology and innovation among youngsters, while spring fest nurtures cultural and art and entertainment.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is not very good here. Because mess food is rarely tolerable somedays. Hostels are affordable of course. In breakfast, you get to eat bread and butter and jam. In afternoon, you will get chicken and fish.

Hostel Fee : INR 54800 per year

Admission :

There were two exams namely JEE(JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM) Mains and JEE Advanced,which you have to qualify. After qualifying JEE Mains, you have to give JEE Advanced exam, which is very difficult exam in all over india.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
