Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because it is one of the good colleges in India and having many opportunities and exposure to outside world not only in academics but also in any other manner . As Civil Engineering is one of the ever green courses and there is always a demand for it And it is having great faculty who are even completed their Phd and also researchers the faculty in this course are very much experienced The exams twice in a semester like mid sem and end sem exams but we regularly have our class tests They were pretty hard

Internships Opportunities :

We are having a lot of internship opportunities Companies like Google ,TATA provide internships both online and offline if the perform well they will be continued and give job there As I am a first year I don't have that much of the experience about internship

Placement Experience :

Generally there will be internship opportunities from the third year onwards Many MNCs like Google, Microsoft ,Tech Mahindra, Apple, visit the college and many people are given internship opportunities My plans after getting a degree are to explore the Business and Management side as well so that it will help

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for a non reservation student like me is pretty high even though considered it the government college The course fee per semester is around 100000 and the hall(hostel) fees are around 40000 I am still in the first year of the course There are no part time jobs in the college

Campus Life :

There are 3 fests in my college a sport fest , tech fest and cultural fest ,most of these happen around the month January and participants all around India come to participate in the fest competitions . The campus provide one of the biggest library in Asia and most of the books available are E-books The classrooms are top-notch with projector And AC There are a lot of clubs or social groups available for all kinds of interests

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are pretty old but some of them are newly constructed or remodeled The meal here is average at its best and dont hope for a high quality meal but they balance the meal with proteins and vitamins It is HEALTHY There is no AC in the rooms but they are clean

Admission :

The admission was through JEE Advanced But to be eligible for the JEE Advanced you have to be qualified in JEE mains And it is a competitive exams which are having a huge competition If you have qualified in JEE Advanced you can avail an option of IITs during the JOSAA counseling and select your priority order. I don't have any reservations . It would be great if it is not in any priority manner because it may change according to the rank.

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Companies including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. have visited here with an average of 6 lakhs per annum offered. The highest package was 31 lakh from Amazon. Almost everyone gets placement here but a very low package. I plan to get an off-campus placement after getting the degree.

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
