Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose Manufacturing Engineering as a course as it was the best I could get in TOP 5 IITs ,so I went for it. Also there is an option of Branch Change , which allows you to get to your desired branch if you got the required CGPA.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Every year the Department host a huge number of excellent quality interns during the summer typically June/July. These interneship probide valuable real world experience hepl build professional networks and enhance a student's academic and career prospects .

Placement Experience :

Placements of the college is quite good . If a do not get campus placement ,one vaible option is to pursue further education by enrolling in a Master's program in Computer Science . Many reputable instituions , including IITs,offer advanced degrees that can provide me with comprehensive knowledge and skills in computer science.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I would not say that the fees is very low , as it is not . However on basis of annual income there is scholarships . Also after getting into college you can allply for different scholarships.Job opportunity is quite good.

Campus Life :

Life at campus is awesome. Kshitij is largest tech fest in Asia conducted by us. Also there is spring fest . There are a lot of clubs , coding clubs , anime clubs , film society and many more.There is NSO for sports .

Hostel Facilities :

I will not lie , hostels are not good . Also about mess food.....sometime it's not something one can eat. Washrooms are not clean , there are no atttached washrooms , common washroom is there.However rooms are very big, hostles too.

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

In order to get addimission you will have to qualify JEE Advanced . You can get more information on its offical site. First you will have to qualify JEE mains in order tto give JEE Advanced. Also you should have taken Maths as a subject in 12th inorder to get addimission in any IITs.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
