Course Curriculum Overview :
The Department of International Relations in our college started in 2012. The course is 3 years long with two semesters each. The subjects include Political Theory, International Political Economy, Administrative Theory and a few optional subjects are also offered among which the students can choose.
Placement Experience :
The college does not provide any internship as per my knowledge but the faculty help you get some internship opportunity. The students can either go on to do masters in International relations or seek a job in the government. I was advised by a senior that many opportunities open up after completing the program.
College Events :
extracurricular skills and talents can be showcased by students on different stages like the South zone regional competitions and at the arts festival which is held every year. These two events are the major highlight at our campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee is considerably very cheap for the program at the central university and the degree that we get after passing out is way more valuable. The fee structure is very simple and straight forward as well.
Campus Life :
The University offers other programs that have a requirement for labs that are well equipped and maintained other than that there are facilities for students to engage in sports as well. and facilities for the same are well maintained.
Admission :
The admission process involves filling an application form and needing to appear for CUCET which is an entrance exam by the university. The merit list of this test and the 12th marks are considered for admission.
Faculty :
The faculty members are all very helpful and knowledgable in their subjects. All the faculty are well qualified as most of them are Ph.D. holders besides that they offer great insight into the subjects and help maintain our interest in the subject.
