Course Curriculum Overview :

I like zoology so I took the course. The student ratio is boys : girls is 10:28. The teachers are very helpful. The semester take place after evey 6 months. The examination is moderate. One can easy pass if he or she study 1 month before exam.

Class Size : 38Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of my course is Rs 20000 . Scholarship is also available. One have to apply after getting in the college. The college will tell you the details about the scholarships. One can get the scholarship if he or she get 70 % in the semester.

Campus Life :

We can play football, cricket and other sports. There is sports department which help one to enroll their names in inter college tournament. All types of sports are played in the college. Our college is good at sports.

Admission :

To take admission one must score 80% above in all subjects in class 12 . To fill up the you have to go to the college website. Then counselling will take place if you name comes in the list, you cam take admission on the college.

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
