WAY TO ANOTHER LIFE

As if I had opted for other courses it would require master's degree as well.I was not interested in other branches of B Tech. Faculties are excellent except lab faculties. Student ratio is too high in our college. Mostly faculties are from PhD or from top IITs,NITS,DTU,etc. Teaching method is excellent. Exams are too hectic during 1st semester.

TCS,Infosys,Wipro, Cognizant, TechMahindra are some of the best companies who visit and hire students for junior engineer,SDE,etc. job roles. Projects are given to students from 5th semester. Students have to put more efforts by themselves.

After 6th semester students are eligible for placements based on their CGPA. 252 companies visited,TechMahindra,TCS, Infosys,Wipro. 70% placements. To join a good company.To get experience in IT industry as an intern and package of 10lpa.

Fees is too high. Scholarships are provided in our college through UP Government but mostly OBC,SC,ST students get scholarship.They are preferred first.General students are suffered. Pragati Scholarship for Girls (AICTE),UP GOVERNMENT AND CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP. Companies visit our college.

Annual fest held is GNEREO at ABES ENGINEERING COLLEGE. Seminars are conducted by various coding societies.Mostly conducted in November. Library is too good. Classroom is excellent. Less sports facilities, opportunities. LightDeLiteracy is a social welfare society run by students to help slum and poor students.

Admission process was based on the score or percentile in JEE MAINS 2023 entrance exam.NTA has conducted the JEE MAINS 2023 into two sessions January and April session.The best score of the two sessions was the final result declared.These score were used by the AKTU(Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam University) or UPTAC(Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) to offer admissions in top government and private colleges of Uttar Pradesh.Counselling was divided into three parts first registration through name,date of birth, mother's name and jee mains application number.Secondally, choice filling,we had to fill the name of colleges,course and branch of our interest to take admission in college.Thirdly, declaration of results based on our rank in jee mains.There were four rounds of counselling.After each round results were declared in every students portal of UPATC website. As I belong to GENERAL CATEGORY there were no reservation for me. Counselling had started too late and schedule was hectic.
