I have interest in finance field that's why I chose bcom hons . Heramba Chandra College is one the best college for commerce education. The faculty to student ratio is good . Faculties are well educated and have an immense knowledge in their fields. Exam are tough as it is hons paper but proper studies can solve everything

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 3850 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Cost of study is minimum. The fees is very less for admission and semester. Goverment scholarship is available for all eligible student and college also provide stipend to deserving candidates. Campus placement is available for last year students.

Campus Life

A lot of seminar and workshops are organised by college and it's departments. Central Library of HCC is the best. Sports , music , drama and a lot of clubs are available for students. All classrooms are smart classes. Annual fest , freshers and other celebration is done. Add on courses like Spanish and Film making is available.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. The cutt off was 80% or above for general category. Some relaxation was given for reservation students. The offline verification process should be changed cause it's the generation of online works. The application form was available in college website. Fees is very reasonable

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Eligible from 1 st sem students on wards Avg package - 4lpa highest is 16lpa After getting this degree i am thinking of pursuing mba anf then getting into business

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

Placement Experience:

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

I Applied In Many Colleges In The Admission Round Of Wbcap.In Which Was Introduced By The Govt. Of West Bengal For The Very 1St Ime In 2024 And I Got Chance In Many Colleges Which Includes : 1) City College Of Commerce And Business Administration . Kolkata 2)Acahrya Jagdish Chandra Bose College .
