Dislikes
- Lpunest test is very easy. I dont like it because every type of students gets admission
- Many of the faculties studied here only and teaches in this university only without any experience.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B.Tech. (Civil Engineering) because I have completed my diploma from civil engineering only and everyone know that we have more government job opportunities in civil engineering and can get better government jobs, so I chose to pursue graduation through civil engineering. Faculty: student ratio is 1:10 approximately. All faculties are well qualified and maximum of them are iitians and approximately every faculty had completed their PhDs. Their teaching method is also outstanding. A weak student can also learn from them. And if you are facing any problems then you can visit to their staff room and you can clear your doubts too. They are very friendly and open minded. There are two main exams, one mid term and another is end term. Mid term exam occurs after 2 months of starting of semester and end term exam occurs after 4-5 months of starting of semester. The mid term as well as end term exams are difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
You should need to work over you skills and select the role of the same company you are interested for example, If you are good in designing buildings and all, etc. you can join stadpro as an intern for about 20-25k and more per month for stipend.
Placement Experience :
From 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are various companies like L&T, TATA steels, ESSAR, Apple, Microsoft, Google, etc. for different courses of B.Tech. Highest package is 3Cr. Per annum. And average package is 40-60 lpa. Approximately 80% -90% of the students gets placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of B.Tech. is ?2,40,000. But you can give lpunest and can get scholarship upto 50%. If you will get more than 90% in scholarship, then you will get scholarship of 50%. There are many private job opportunities as there is College placement every year and approximately every student gets placed.
Campus Life :
There are different fests like spectra, magnitude, AIU, Coke Studio etc. are conducted in our university In the month of August to November. Approximately every types of books and journals can we found in the library. There are 1,00,000+ books in the library. There is a wing called DSW in which many clubs and social groups run by students for differentiation types of sports, and extra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities :
There are hostels as well as apartments for students. Different fees for hostel is there for different number of seaters room which varies from ?70000 to ?120000. It depends upon number of seaters in a room and AC/Non-AC. Geyser, one bed, one table and one almirah is provided for every student in a hostel. Meal quality is better as compared to other universities. There are different types of meals like North Indian, south indian, alacarte, etc. You can register for hostel while taking admission only. You can get hostels easily while taking admission.
Admission :
You should have passed with min. 60% in class 12th for the admission of B.Tech. and if u have completed diploma and have and have to take admission in lateral entry, then you should have passed with min. 40%. You can get scholarship by giving exam of lpunest. You can visit to the official site of lpu to get application form and application dates. Application fees is ?1000. You can get scholarship upto 50% by clearing lpunest. The exam of lpunest is not difficult due to which any student can get scholarship and can pass lpunest. University can make lpunest exam more difficult so that the university can get better students.
