Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Civil engineering in lateral entry since it has less competition and its peak is now rising. The faculty ratio is 1:4 . The teachers are friendly and interactive .Almost all the faculty are phd holders from top institutes abroad ,iits amd nits. We had 3CAs ,a mid term and an end term exam per semester. You can pass the exam if you are regular and active with your subjects .

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

You can get internships in synopsis, accenture,etc. Google lab offers a lot in lpu. you can easily make 20-30k as stipend during the internship. Plus if you are good enough you can also be hired for government internships.

Placement Experience :

The student become eligible in their 4th sem for placements .I am right now preparing for IES ESE exams . The highest package for my stream has been 15 lacs till date and rising.80% get placed. Tata ,LnT ,accenture ,yukohoma visit here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

LPU provides several study grants to meritorious students based on skills and exams .Offcourse fee is high but you will always get Scholarships upto 50-60% through lpunest. Also you will always be provided with the necessary documents for loan ,Scholarships from state etc.

Campus Life :

From best infrastructures,to one of the biggest library with all the needed books,magazines, you name it and you will get it in lpu .We have a division of student welfare where you can join your favorite clubs and get trained with the skilled mentor. I joined music classical club through which I performed for spectra,coke studio ,magnitude .

Hostel Facilities :

I opted for a 4 seater room non ac ...provided with gyser,cooler,almirah ,study table ,etc. The rooms are spacious and cleaning personnels keep it clean. The mess food is good full of varieties. Just that you won't be getting a good maggie here.

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Admission :

So the entrance exam is quite easy to crack which I personally prefer to be a little more tough.There is no hassel during and after the admission. You just need to have your documents ready .Scholarships upto 6o percent is given.The mess food is one of the best ,healthy with varieties. Conclusion is that this college provides you all the resources in abundance . you just need to choose your circle wisely.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university.
