Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the college as because It has a beautiful campus . And average packege of the college is good(12 lakh per annum). The college also offers many club for enhansing extracurricular activities,like Robodarshan(the robotic society),Reflexo Beta(dance society),Emphony( the music club ) etc.

Class Size : 94Course Fees : INR 142000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Different companies like Microsoft , Infosys ,Wipro , IBM, TCS offers internship to the students of IIEST,Shibpur. The college offers scholarship to the undergaduate and postgraduate students for financial assistance. GAABESU offers scholarship to the meritirious students of IIEST,Shibpur,

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Micrisoft ,Wipro,Google,Texas Instrument ,IBM, PWC ,Uber are the different companies which visit IIEST campus for placement.About 80 % students get placement from the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In the college ,as tuition fee ,those students with anual income above 5 lakh have to pay Rs 68000 in every semester and students with anual income above 1 lakh but below 5 lakh have to pay Rs 26333 in every semester and the students with anual imcome below 1 lakh have to pay Rs 5500 in every semester .

Campus Life :

The great cultural fest of IIEST,Shibpur is REBECA ,conducted every year .In the library(Ramanujan Central Library ) different kinds of books relevant to every branch are available .In the campus a Volleyball Court , a Basketball court and two playgrounds are present.

Hostel Facilities :

In Hostels, 4 students live in one room. Everyday we get meal for 3 times.The meal quality is also good. On the day of physical reporting I regestered for hostel. PG are available in the surroundings of the college.One can get rented room or PG very easily .

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

To take admission in IIEST,Shibpur in any branch of engineering one have to get a good rank in JEE main eximination . After JEE main exam I participated in JOSAA counselling .After 6th round of the counselling I got Information Technology branch in IIEST,Shibpur .

From 7th semester you are eligible for placements Tata consultancy services , Pwc, ICICI , Duesthe bank ,Wells Fargo etc no of offers for my batch are more than 300 highest package is 40 lpa and lowest package is 3.3 lpa avg is 7 lpa percentage of students placed is 70 my plan is to join a company which I got selected through campus placement

B.Tech is a great course for technological world and interest.This college mainly focus on the practical knowledge rather than only focusing on bookish things.There is so many opportunities for students who are interested in research.
