Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as the information technology course is one of the leading branches of engineering in india. for every subject there are atleast 3 main faculty members and many more phd scholars to see the other work. There are 2 midsems and 2 endsems in every year of course. The difficulty level is moderate as we came here after giving jee.

Class Size : 94Course Fees : INR 142000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is availability of so many internships right from 6th semester and students also like to work in both salary based or just work based internships. The companies also gives ppo that is pre placements offers.

Placement Experience :

the students from iiest mainly starts working as interns from the end of third year. There are various big companies like microsoft,tata,etc and the placements are quite decent in the college .In information technology department the placements are nearly 95%

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

fees of the course every semester is 71000 and there are 8 semesters. This fees is for general category people whose parent's income is more than 500000 and the fees reduces down to 28000 for parent's income between 100000 to 500000 and 5500 for sc/st category students. the scholarships provided to students in iiest includes merit scholarships and category scholarships.

Campus Life :

The biggest fest of the college is called as Rebecca. there were events like nerdcon and robocon. There are all the books required related to the course. There are mainly 2 big grounds oval and lords. There are clubs like reflexobeta, euphony, debsoc, litsoc etc.

Hostel Facilities :

There is accomodation for 4 people in one room. the rooms are bit conjusted considering the 4 tables,4 beds and 4 cupboards in one room. The rent for one semester is 4000 for room and the mess fees is 17500 for one semester. there are also availability of pg's near campus

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

I have appeared for joint entrance exam for being eligible for this course. The application for entrance exam was on the site of nta. i am from the caste sc where i got some reservation for seat and the fees of the application and course too. the admission process should be divided in some days so that there will work load management for parents and students both
