Remarks :
Along with good things there are few bad issues happening in college. Our college was owned by 2 brothers. And both are fighting for the ownership of the college. There are goons entering college and troubling the whole college atmosphere. It has been a court case since 2 years and still not resolved. Huge problems r been faced by students regarding the exams and faculty. Every year the faculty is being changed by the brothers. And it's very difficult to concentrate on studies . We just hope the issue gets resolved and we can study in a better environment.
Entrance Preview :
I had written common entrance exam cet to get admission in this college just for aerospace engineering I got seat in second round. There was only one seat left for general merit. And I was the one who got it. There was no interview process as it was through entrance exam. I wanted to do something different in life even if it is engineering. That is the reason I chose this college as there are only 3 colleges in Karnataka having aerospace. Now I am an aerospace engineering student.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is one of the toughest and high paid one. Practical learning is given high importance in my college as it is the field of innovation. Research has been the most repeated thing in my college as our Dean is the experienced in research field, he encourage us in every step... There were lots of workshops conducted this academic year and it was too fun to be a part of it.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not reached internship level yet. But I never rely on college for internship. I will apply by my own . May be in ISRO or HAL.
Placement Experience :
Placements r not up to the level. But I still have 2 more years to complete my course. So I hope till then it will get better.
College Events :
There were lots of events organised like quiz , performing arts etc last year there was the huge fest conducted which was name "Alliance Carnival Converge 2k17" which was super fun. There was DJ night conducted by olle supersonic and kill wish. It was super fun.the organization had contributed for the event. Which was a huge success.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It was affordable as it was through cet. But if u want management seat all get it for 2lakhs which is quite affordable for middle class people.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No scholarships are provided to be honest. Till the date I did not get any of them. And I have never applied for the study loan so I don't know exactly about the loan criteria.
Campus Life :
Yes. We can join diploma courses in performing arts along with full time degree course. I have joined Diploma in bharatanatyam which is a 2 years course. I can get extra degree while leaving the college. There is a kabaddi team as well as cricket team too .
Hostel Facilities :
I am residing in PG . It's 30 min away from my college.. I regularly travel in BMTC bus which is very crowdy normal days. I live in 3 sharing room . I pay 5000 per month . Food is not up to the level. But if u adjust then ull get used to it
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes there is lot of interaction with the alumni to get a brief idea about the higher studies. They help us in every aspect. They come here and address us so that even we can get enough knowledge about the internship and etc.
Exam Structure :
Exams were hectic . It's so difficult to study those subjects but quite fun too. If u have interest in the subject u can enjoy it.
Faculty :
Faculty is highly qualified as they are from IIT or iisc . As aerospace is a part of IIT and it was recently introduced in engineering... So the lecturers are IITians
